If you watch, he hit the guy with his guitar because he was pulling at Kurts hair like a moron.

The band right now sounds as good as it has since Dr Feelgood, Vince especially, plus he's lost alot of weight which is good.

My favourite album has to Too Fast For Love though, it's just bad-ass through and through.

I really liked it, watching them play on the Jimmy Kemmel show was amazing, Vince sounds and looks better than he has in years, Tommy is playing great, Nikki is playing great, Mars is playing great!

i hated the heroin diaries personally, although I loved reading the dirt, and I loved slash's biography.

and obviously, it's called the heroin diaries since it's about a year in the life of a heroin addict.. to be fair he's hardly glamourising it with the title, more just so you know what you're getting.

Yeah, listening to Aerosmith was pretty much what influenced me to start playing years ago, and now I own a beautiful Les Paul standard in a root beer finish.

I want the Joe Perry signature guitar though, it's so fine.

Really you can get most sounds out of a Gibson Les Paul.. take a listen to something like "Diary of a Madman" or something like that, with Randy Rhoads, and then obviously you've got the classic "Slash Tone".. and you can do some really heavy stuff like Zakk Wylde's style of music.

To be fair, they may have not gotten through to the audition if you'd still been in the band.

When it comes out, I'll buy it.

When it leaks, I'll download it.

I'd be very surprised if any members of this forum would sit around with their fingers in their ears while the rest of us enjoy/discuss the new tunes we've waited a decade or so to hear.

Fuck all the guys who cheat and steal? I think paying £120 to see G'n'R at Wembley (from ticketmaster, not a tout), having them cut the set short and Axl leave Baz to sing Paradise City (thats right, NO ORIGINAL MEMBERS TO CLOSE THE SHOW) is a bit of a cheat to be honest.

There's no way I'm going to invest £10 on a CD when the onyl judgement I can have on the band is the shows they deliver, which have been frought with cancellations, showing up late, and in my personal case, not even playing the set properly.

I'll download it, and IF the music is good enough, then I will buy the CD and support the band.

I guess they forgot that G'n'R played everything tuned down 1/2 a step.

This isn't really the point, I want criticism on the music if anything, I don't see the benefit in going into the has and has nots of the shitty production. If I want my music to be properly produced I'll hire a proper producer.

Well I'm working with Laura Nauda at the moment, we've got a few warmup gigs around christmas and then a short tour booked to run through february, and a festival in March.

I'm meeting Kelly Lee in the new year to discuss possibly touring with her as her live guitarist.. she's signed with Halo UK so that will be pretty good if I get that.

Meeting Bianca (formally of White Heat) for pretty much the same thing.

Basically helping record their albums and play with them as a live guitarist... it's definate with Laura and the other two are forthcoming..

It seems a pretty good way of meeting people, establishing contacts, getting some experience etc before trying to start my own thing.

It depends on what kind of music you're playing.

Think of a Strat for twangy lead playing like Chuck Berry

For a better alternative rock sound go for either a Tele or a Jag

For classic rock go for a Les Paul.

I'm using a Peavey Special 112 for gigging and session work, I picked it up for £100 and it's a 160Watt amp.

It's still a fuckup, but how people think the song was sped up I have no idea.

And his playing was spot on.
