If Chinese Democracy, the greatest urban legend ever in rock n roll music aint out by 2007 just boycott that shit and pirate the fuck outta it, if u are forced to wait 1, 2, or 10 years why not at least save a few bucks. Some albums are worth waiting for, but 13 songs isnt worth 13 years, no 13 songs would ever be worth 13 years.

Hopefully all the leaks and recent events and news lead to the actual release FINALLY, if the whole album leaks i'll still buy it, probably 2 copies just because its a piece of music history and perhaps the most anticpated album ever. I wish Axl would just release a statement, maybe just a sentence, through a spokesperson even, as long as it's something to clear up the mess. Either way it's only a matter of time, but the mainstream hype won't last nearly as long as the fanbase hype will about the recent leaks being on the radio and stuff. Sure GNR got a lot more publicity in the last few weeks but the general listeners who arent huge GNR fans will eventually stop giving a shit and be less likely to buy the album if it is released months after they heard the new music and had any thought of buying the album. Not that Axl will read my post and be like "hey this D bag makes sense, i should release a statement, through a spokesperson just like he said and then release the album the next day well ppl are still interested in whats going on" but either way, whether it comes out this spring or summer or not, it's gonna sell a ton of copies worldwide and probably save rock music just like GNR did in the 80's.

I'm gonna get myself a few liters of Captain Morgan, and all my friends who've been waiting with me, and were gonna get drunk as fuck and blast the cd all night on repeat. We'll have extra copies in case in a drunken rage one gets broken. Not many other ppl will join us this night cuz were all 19 or 20 and not many ppl our age like good music anymore.

That's a good letter, i'm 19 and think the new GNR sounds great and i'm a huge fan of the older GNR to. I roll into class everyday with some kind of fuckin GNR blastin on my radio and when i party on weekends i usually end up in a drunken rant about why GNR is better then the shit we hear today. If i want to feel sorry for myself i'll put in linkin park and if i want to feel like i'm from the ghetto i'll turn on any radio station that plays today's shit and if i want to feel GOOD AS FUCK i'll turn on some fuckin GNR!

Yea, all those extra costs and the amount a band really makes from the CD sales are of interesting note. It could very easily take several years before true profits start to be seen, if the album is a long term seller like that. How many sales have there been for AFD to date? (We're talking almost 20 years of sales on a HUGE HIT)

I just bought a copy yesterday cuz i broke my old cd at a party over the weekend when i put it in the cd player with so much emotion it shattered all over inside the cd player.

Appetite for destruction was the best rock album ever released. Even if it's only axl now and it's mr. peanut on guitar it's still gonna be the best album released in 2006. I don't know about you guys, but i never saw anyone waiting in lines to pick up the new chris brown cd.

If the mainly popular radio stations didn't play only "hip hop sensations" like CHRIS BROWN and KANYE WEST and company, GNR would be popular again. Whatever MTV wants on it's HITS channel is whatever makes it on the radio most of the time. I called up mine and they said they dont have any GNR on their playlist cause it's "outdated and doesn't interest the target audience" target audience=ghetto surburban kids. GNR FOREVER

These songs are all awesome, vintage GNR with some new modern touch ups. Better really shows that, and even if they are just demo's they sound great.
