Thanks! Wow, can't believe it took until 2018 for this to get an official release... Listening to it, I do remember Fracas sounding better than this, but most of the vocals sound the same as they were back in the demo (just like Chinese Democracy ).
No, it's completely re-recorded, vocals included. Fracas was much more "industrial" whereas the released version is rock. If you know an easy site I can quickly upload it to without having to register or any other B.S., I'll do it when I get a chance.

I liked his song Fracas from a while back, can't seem to find that any more.
It’s called Crestfallen on the album. The demo (Fracas) was better IMO. I have a mp3 of it. I’ll try to upload it if I get a chance.

His song "Remote Control" was very big on Canadian radio when I used to live there. I always think of it when I can't find the remote control lol...

Attitude... "leaked" setlist was fake

Just drop the songs a key... shit, if Zeppelin could do it for Robert Plant at the O2 show, then GN'R can.

This show + the 3 NITL shows I went to still lead me to the conclusion that Frank's style just doesn't work.

Nice to hear some Quadrophenia songs!

They're on a race with The Stones & Dylan on who can tour the longest time before they're medically forced to stop
Dylan & Who are not in the same league as Stones tour-wise. Mick still moves like he's 25. Dylan doesn't even play the guitar anymore.

It's Ringo's son, isn't it?
Looks like him (Zak)
- on a side note I remember seeing Oasis with him & the radio DJ that day said the Apple Corp. (Beatles label) lawyers wouldn't allow Oasis do their I Am The Walrus cover with him as it had "added value" with a Beatle son.

I'm sure it's been mentioned but be sure to uninstall Hola after the show. Company is well known to track, save & sell users data to marketing companies.

Shut up & sing

I went to 3 last year:
2nd Vegas show in last row; Toronto show 4th row on floor; and 2nd Foxboro show GA on rail directly in front of Slash all show.
Based on the 3 different seating experiences and lack of change in setlist I'm skipping the Boston show in October as I don't think I'll get much out of it.
that said, I still really enjoyed the 3 I went to.

He really stands out & drives Live Like A Suicide so I vote:
Reckless Life, Nice Boys, Move To The City, Mama Kin + Shadow Of Your Love.

Hey man, he's fucking there playing in GNR. Its cool!
This is like Stones fans in 2013 when he'd just do Midnight Rambler
Even with Mick Taylor, at least they extended Midnight Rambler to 10 minutes and let him solo the shit out of it.
I have to say that Adler does add a lot more energy to the songs than Frank but I understand the hesitation of the band to rely on him any more than they are.

They played the recording through the loud speakers prior to the St Patrick's Day show in Boston 1993. Not sure if any differences in final mix as they just recorded it in the days immediately prior to the show and it wasn't released until 7 months later. Not the best quality but it's on YouTube

MSL forum brings up an interesting point about Pitman. Apparently he was the person who stole the music samples for Riad that led to a lawsuit against GNR/Axl. Seems Pitman has left himself open for liability on this issue and it creates leverage for Axl in any negotiation with Pitman. "You want $160,000? How about the $1 million you cost me in damages for copyright theft?"
When was the Riad case? California's statute of limitations likely ran out on that case, so there's no counterclaim option. Also, Pitman may have been protected under a principal-agent relationship w his employer. Doubtful he has exposure.
California statute of limitations is 4 years on contract & my understanding is he's looking for damages from 2012, so Pitman had to file now. He was only given the boot a few months ago, so there's nothing nefarious with his timing of the lawsuit.

California statute of limitations on contracts is 4 years, so it was either file now or never. He was only shitcanned recently so timing isn't suspect.
Edit- he's claiming $$ from 2012, correct?

I'm not familiar with too many deep cuts, but ones I think Axl would suit:
Jailbreak, Long Way To The Top, Ballbreaker & Girls Got Rhythm
I also would like to hear these, regardless of who sings:
You Ain't Got A Hold On Me, Money Talks, Big Balls, RNR Ain't Noise Pollution

Dynamite show. Strolled in at 8:25 and got right to the security barrier. Was only a few feet from the band, head trip.
Cather was great and I don't even like Chinese Democracy.
I enjoyed it better than Vegas (4/9) but equal to Toronto. The band seemed more into the Toronto show and Axl smiled/interacted more, but my position near the stage in Foxboro was unreal so on par.

We arrived at 8 pm last night and we're still able to park at the stadium. Just like any event at Gillette, getting out sucks, took about 90 minutes until it cleared to 95. But the show kicked ass and was worth it. Will be there again tonight.
Awesome. You were able to park at 8pm, plus get to your seat and grab a beer by showtime?? Coming straight from work so trying to plan this out accordingly. I just saw them in Toronto so going to split after 1st song of encore, think that'll make the exit quicker??
-
I'm going tonight. How was parking and getting back on the 95? Any suggestions?
-
I hope the place is empty. Toronto was a mess with 60K. At least we can get in & out easy. I think they'd be more prone to experiment with a smaller crowd. I'm in the Pit on Slash's side. Pretty psyched.

The sound of the song is good for the cartoon.
It’s the vocals i’m impressed with. Interests me more in a new album now.
