For those that don't have tickets yet, i just searched on ticketmaster(they hold tickets until a day or 2 before the show) and tickets for MEZZ1 were available. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.

People shouldn't even be given the option to buy 23 tickets.

I'm going to have to step in here and say that if he had the financial means to buy 23 tickets, then go right ahead. I bought my ticket for the 17th show and the next day the show for the 12th was announced. I did not have the financial means that day to buy anymore tickets, but I was able to buy a ticket for the 12th from smokingarthur, for almost exactly what he paid for it, he has been nothing but honest and upfront with me and for that I do respect him. IMHO all he did was attempt to help us gunners out that didnt have the money that day, didnt have the presale password or for whatever reason didnt get tickets. He is not making a profit off the tickets, he was just trying to do his part in ensuring that members of the forum at least had a fighting chance. And for that, Thanks!

I booked a room there too (for the 5/12 show). Got a better rate there than I could in the midtown area and the commute via subway is a piece of cake. There is a Times Square Hilton that's closer you might want to investigate.

I think that I'm just going to stick with what I got....The way everyone talks the trip to and from hammerstein wont be that bad.

Well, your room is downtown while the Hammerstein is in midtown. Its like a 25 min on the subway or 15min by cab

didn't realize it was that far away...are there any hilton owned properties around the area?(hilton, hampton, embassy) I'm a member of hilkton honors and Im trying to use some of my points for a free night.

thats a good question, I had 2 brower windows open(1 checking the 15th and 1 the 17th) and when I finally got through on the 17th, it said something about my tickets were available in 1 one and then when i tried to complete the purchase and came up with the screen return to previous page....anybody else have that problem??? But, I did get lucky enough to get 1 ticket for the 17th....

keep checking back...i had 2 ticket browesers open when i ordered mine and somehow it canceled mine, but i was just now able to get 1 tix for wednesday

Your probably right...I can definately see Axl playing LA, but with my luck, as soon as I don't go...He won't play. Plus, I've never been to NY

The flights that I've looked at have been between $309-$398. $398 being a direct flight
