Matt used the gong off and on. I believe he used it some in '91 shows, he had in for Rock in Rio 2. I don't recall seeing in in '92, but I could be wrong. He did use it for the Skin and Bones tour. I don't think he used it it in Neurotic Outsider but he used it in Velvet Revolver for Slither and Set Me Free. He had used it again in Hollywood Vampires. I read an interview recently where he said it broke.

no he played on three songs....tiguana jail, black and pawn shop guitars.

thanks for posting, I didn't know they had re-recorded Tijuana Jail. That being said personally I prefer the original better. It is more aggressive which fits the song better. The re-recorded version is more mellow. I also love Matt's drumming on the original. between this, Snakepit and Neurotic Outsiders I would have loved to have heard what GN'R would have sounded like if Matt had been given more creative freedom when doing his drum parts.
