  1. I heard a guy yell out "Jamie Adler!" Then embraced and had a discussion out infront of the troubadour fri night. I assume that was Stevens brother but ive never seen the guy in person before, so cant confirm. If so, Adler must be on somewhat good terms with them. At the time i just assumed adler would be the drummer since that guy was there.

Also- guy who used to run Adlers website was at the troub. Not sure if he actually went inside though.

yup. it looks good and weird at the same time seeing duff and slash back in gnr. even for them, i think. it wouldn't surprise me if this was the first or second rehearsal axl did with the band. actually nothing changed...axl came last to gig, was not in the tour bus as far the footages show us and the interaction with slash was decent. axls performance was still good. but in these few clips you can feel that its not a real team yet.

I believe Axl may have been at the venue earlier for sound checks but cant confirm... But yeah, he rolled in at the last moment in a convoy of two black escalades and was on stage singing not more than 5 minutes later. All the regular GnR management types; Del, Beta, Fernando were there early and could be seen around all night.

  3. A couple extra tidbits from Friday...

On Friday the doors were already open and people filing inside the Troubadour. The police pulled a car over just out in front.  They made the driver get out, then asked the passenger to step outside the vehicle as well. The passenger was Frank Ferrar. The driver and Frank were pleading that Frank was the drummer of GnR, the police were not buying it. I said hello to Frank and confirmed to police that he was indeed the drummer. Deciding not to make a scene, police allowed Franks car to go. Frank said thanks.

There was also a dispute at some point over a promoter and his guests getting in after the fire marshal had closed down any further entry. Fernando came out to resolve it and was introduced as "gnrs manager". Take it for whatever thats worth.

  4. I'm wondering what people would expect to pay for a whistle or microphone used in a GnR concert. I went to a GnR Las Vegas show last year and Axl threw his PC whistle to my friend. He now has it hanging up in his office.

Just curious what people think a fair price would be to offer for the whistle... also curious what you'd pay for the mic he throws out at the end.

  5. Axl picked a terrible anology. A band is not a car. Cars are best driven by individuals. A band by definition is a group of individuals acting together. A successful band are individuals that act well together. Let me think of some successful examples of successfull friend bands... Led Zepplin, Queen, Motley Crue, Metallica, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Gnr 85-93.

  6. I ordered the stream.. got my paypal confirmation 1 hour ago, still no login and PW in my inbox? anyone know how to fix this? Email me at BradSaylor@aol.com

    thanks

Did you check your junk inbox

I did. Nothing in there either. I'm not going to be that pissed over 3$ but I did want to enjoy the concert tonight

  7. The tour was to be 30 dates, and 30 dates are now announced. Unless they add more dates/a 2nd leg, Phoenix won't get a date.

P.s. Any law that allows you to be stopped randomly without cause is unjust. As a white guy who has lived abroad - I'd be pissed if I was profiled because I "might" be illegal. It's racial profiling and if you think otherwise go out and get some experience in the world.

Go out and read SB1070. The law allows law enforcement to ask for proof of citizenship after someone is arrested for committing a crime. It does not allow law enforcement to arrest, detain, or ask for proof of citizenship just because of suspicion. You have been listening to much TV and OP-eds to actually know the FACTS. AZ has one of the highest Latino populations.. we're not rascist or profilers. I bet we also have one of the largest Latino law enforcement populations.

GnR should definitely come to PHX and it would be a hell of a show.

Not wearing your seatbelt is committing a crime. They will ask for papers for that.

They already do brother. Every time I have ever been pulled over I'm asked for License and Registration, regardless if I have committed a crime or not. We have a problem in Arizona and we tried to fix it. It is very common to be in a motor vehicle accident caused by an illegal. Getting your car smashed and getting injured sucks ass when the person who caused it can go back across the border and you're left with a mess. Uneducated people, athletes, and artists have screwed our state for fixing a problem. I hope GnR aren't as dumb. AZ ROCKS

  9. I'm from a place where there is a major pressing factory. We would always get CDs way before they came out in stores. That was true until Eminems CD was leaked from that plant around 2001... Interscope got pissed and the FBI was involved. They tracked down exactly who leaked it.. they saw jail time.

Now the factory is totally secure and nothing can leak. I've had friends that have worked there since and they all say it is impossible.. everything is accounted for and you go through metal detectors in and out.

Dont hold out hope for it leaking from a pressing factory.
