  1. [...] We're fans because through all the bullshit, we still believe that Axl has something very special left to give to the world. We want to see him succeed. Hopefully, he'll start to realize that.

Great steps foward were taken in the last twenty-four hours. We should be very happy.

    Say it LOUDER!! rock2

  2. We'll see if it comes out 2007 <_<

im thankful we were givin an explanation instead of just waitin like little ducks for whenver something was coming out

Remember the truth always comes out -then we'll really know who was at fault

(not like i dnt believe Ax- u never know)

  3. The first option sounds a little bs but sounds like the best bet

it doesnt set a date which is good becuz as we all know many gnr fans are already upset about the cancellations of the tour & many times a date has been set & nothing has been shown- therefore Merck, GNR and anyone else will not let down anyone if they havent "promised" anything

as for me, personally: im not sure if this will happen- if it does im happy for everyone who has worked for this to come out & for us the fans who have waited patiently n impatiently

if the album never shows face- it wont really matter we have heard some new songs & there was a World Tour- & GNR shouldnt feel that bad-no matter what happens there are fans forever

  4. where are the pics, the links??

you guys talk about how axl is dressing or about how he left the portland show!

but there's nothing for me too see!!!

  5. Izzy is right about his statement on Axl using the name Gn'R. If Axl releases Chinese Democracy under the name Gn'R...no matter how good it is, no matter how much ass it kicks...he is going to get a more than fatal backlash to his career. What do you think people will do when they go to stores and buy the album and listen to the songs and find they sound nothing like Gn'R, and then further look in the booklet that there are no other Gn'R members on that album but Axl??? Like Izzy said it they will say to Axl "Fuck you wanker this is NOT Guns N' Roses". If half this internet forum (this forum are the strongest of Axl's fans) don't accept this current band as Guns N' Roses, what on earth makes anyone think those people out there will? It's sad but true

if people who buy the GN'R album (if it comes out) dont know these guys are not the same ones from before then why are they buying it

all over the media- it has been said that Axl Rose is the ONLY member from the original lineup that still exist in GN'R

    they'll set themselves up <_<

  6. the theory could be a good idea (although the old gnr is not together) so it wouldnt make much sense :(

anywho!! im not so sure if the album will ever come out

it seems like axl isnt ready or confident in himself to take out an album & if so it isnt fair that he has these new guys thinkin they might have a new album

  7. axl once said when making the UYI album that he hated people recognizin gnr only for AFD songs- i guess that's what is happenin now - he did put alot of him in that album n worked his ass off maybe it brings him bad memories about his life n the band :(

  8. This is for all people who doubt Axl is takin out the album this year.

Not only are his fans noticing he's out in the public eye but people who didnt expect him to make a successful comeback.

Not sure if anyone has put this before but i thought it was pretty cool, people are giving the "new" GN'R a chance.

And if you're wondering what I was doing awake at 5 a.m., I was still on New York time, and my ears were still ringing from the Guns N' Roses concert that I attended at The Joint, an intimate rock hall at the south end of the casino.

This place is extremely cool, and remarkably organized for a rock hall.

Being the Grrr guy that I am, I was fully expecting a repeat performance by Axl Rose of his disastrous MTV Music Awards appearance a few years ago.

I was shocked to hear the singer in excellent voice, and giving a high-energy performance. I was sure there had to be a back-up track involved, until he started ad libbing his more popular tunes, and I became a Axl convert.

Of course, this isn't the original Guns N' Roses, but with Axl at the helm and some pretty good rockers on guitar, bass and drums, these guys sound legit enough.

    Phantom Planet opened for Axl.

My one Grrr! is when the lead singer said his next song was about Charles Manson, but then, with all the noise and a lack of elocution, no one could understand any of his lyrics anyway. That's OK. I'm not a Manson fan, so missing the meaning of the tune didn't make me lose any more sleep than I already was.

They did do a super-cool rendition of "Phantom of the Opera," however, and I really enjoyed their performance.

I'm a little amazed (or is it dazed?) at the triumphant return of the '80s hair bands. These guys are getting older, like Tommy Lee, Gilby Clarke and Jason Newsted of SuperNova, but they're still cool as rockers.

Welcome back, Axl. Good luck with the new GnR. written by Mike Straka
