    This band is a fucking joke and a disgrace to GNR fans, so many people are still not realizing that. He SHOULD reunite with old GNR if he wants to save his name and the name of the band. Not to mention the additional money that would be involved. It would make this circus tour seem like...a circus. The new lineup are such a bunch of losers. What is with that one dickhead guitarist slamming a note every so often like he's punching the guitar? He's like the anti-Izzy and its annoying as hell. It seems so unneccesary and so cliche.

    He should re-record CD with the original (real) GNR and add some Slash and Izzy-created tracks to it, tour with AFD and UYI till they finish, then tour again with CD. That would be great and something everyone would want. Fuck the 75% full arena shows, they'd be packing fans to the rafters of stadiums. Its like everyone in the world can envision it but them...

    Just to re-itterate, for all of you guys smashing on GeorgeGlass for not being a true GNR fan, or whatever....

    Slash is 10x the guitarist Bumblefoot, Finck and the other guy are. They all play like shit and dont even pick a majority of their notes (something slash always does). Too much distortion, it gives GNR an industrial tone that just isn't the same. Slash always had a sort of blues/rock tone which is what he is great at. Slash is what made Guns the only rock band to care about in the 88'-93' era. These trashy industrial guitarists just ruin Axl's old songs.

    I can honestly admit if I ever see Slash and Axl on the same stage again it will be the greatest show ever.... but it really just wont happen. I've read that Axl has reconciled with every single person in the band besides Slash. He partied with Sorum multiple times in NY and he did the same with Duff.

    I can live with these guitarists as long as Axl is still rockin because I love his live performances... I just saw them in Baltimore on the 14th and Axl absolutely killed it.

    I'm from Annapolis, MD, but I am currently going to college in Philadelphia. I did not really start following the band until '04, and just this year, I finally met some fellow gunners up here. The locals seem to be really pissed still about what happened on the ChiDem tour, and the general opinion on the band up here does not seem to be very high.

    Do you think the guns will play Philly in '06?

    I am worried that Axl is on a Philly Sucks ride right now, much like his old reactions to St. Loius after the riot there.

    So will he forgive and forget, or not show at all?

    And will Philadelphia turn out to support him?

    If AXL is in Philly I will be there. And please... Axl realizes how much money a philly show will bring.... (All the NY's, NJ, DE people who are going to multiple shows).

    I know when they tour the US i will be at every show in the tri-state area :)

    From a purely talent perspective, Chinese Democracy will be huge. Axl led the rock revolution in the late 80's when Guns was defining what Rock was. IMO Axl has not lost that drive, and I think Chinese Democracy is his time to tell all the nay-sayers to go fuck themselves because Axl is still a force in this business with or without his old bandmates.

    that is sooooooo unnecessary. The band is fine - no GREAT, the way it is! The ball is already rolling and Robin/Richard/Tommy are LEAGUES ahead of Slash or Duff. I never want the old band to reunite. Ever.

    Bro are you kidding? All three of those asshats last nite had their gain turned way up. Slash is a better blues/rock guitarist then any of those assholes and he complements Axl's voice so much better.

    Think of it this way, it took 2, maybe all 3 guitarists to do what Slash does.

    Also listen to how good their guitarists sound.....YEA they sound like trash. None of those assholes could even match slash's solo'ing ability and it showed when they butchered sweet child, and I left for nighttrain, but im assuming that got butchered also.

    Finally, the difference between Slash and those 3 douche bags is that slash uses a pick and doesnt let his distortion do the picking for him like Finck,Bumblefoot, and the other guy.

    I never got to see Axl + Slash together live. Im 20 and didnt get into GNR till I was 10. Seeing Axl preform was the highlight of my GNR addiction so far, but Slash and Axl on the same stage would let me die a happy man :)
