Interesting. I don't think MSL is lying....I'm sure that's the information he was given, whether it's true or not is another story.

The sad part about it is the G N' R camp is so pissed at MSL, mygnr forum members, "downloading mutherfuckers" that now that this news got out (if it's true) they'll probably change the release date just to show us that MSL is not a reliable source.

That would be madness ... from the GNR CAMP ... ( EVEN FOR THEM )

At this point, acctually, with the release of SR ... I can almost confirm that something is coming.

The record company wouldn't agree to just release a song out of the blue for nothing ... after all this years. It would be a lost MOMENTUM for a release. You would create expectation and loose more faith in this BAND.

Chinese Democracy is finaly coming "SOON " ( I mean, this year ), and since we know about SR, release it in NOVEMBER is what they have to do.

WHY A BAND like GNR ( that i love so much ) can't produce a album in 4 years ( in the case that they have done everything only since 2002 ).

The first single usually comes out 4 - 6 weeks before the album release. It creates a buzz and helps promote album sales. If the album starts to sell, expect a 2nd single. If the album continues to sell after the 2nd sngle, expect a 3rd and so on.

One thing we must look forward to when the first single comes out - the ACTUAL album release date! When the single is shipped to radio stations they also get a press release to go with it. The release date of the album will be in the press release!!

Yeah it depends on the strategy.

I think GNR needs to release their single MUCH EARLIER than usual. For a band that has been around, like Green Day or Nickelback, a 4 week gap between single and release is good enough. But for a band that has had nothing since 1993, they'll need more time to build awareness if they are to hit it big. If I heard a song tomorrow and the DJ said it was the new GNR single, I wouldnt even believe it at first. Its been too long! They need to give ample time for the mainstream to let it sink in that GNR are back. They need to release the single like....tomorrow lol.....to start awareness towards a November release.

LIFE IS the search for new experiences and whenver you stop in one musical style , musicaly you are dead - but not everyone can see and be able to listen to new things and understand new expressions - Maybe as Slash can't ( but he also is a gifted guy in a diferent way)
