rock1 I think buckethead was an excellent guitaist, he could play as good as anyone, and had absolutely perfect technique. with that being said he had a no sloppyness that gives feeling to a solo, and lacked the feeling slash could put out. he did make GNR a new appearence but i think fink adds enough of that. i think GNR will find them better off without BH but he most likely was just as hard to replace as slash. God i hope the new Guitarist is a show stopper.

I definately think the new guitarist is someone who we all know and is very popular.. there would be no reason to keep it a secret if he was an unknown. bucket head wasnt even a secret before the tour. we knew about him for years and he was a known guitarist.

Axl has some of the best lyrics i have ever heard. he knows how to push your emotional buttons wether it be intentionaly or naturally, he dose it. Like some of the lyrics on appitite its like the guy makes you feel how he feels. he paints a picture that you essentully cant misunderstand. whether it be the system fucken you over, or a broken heart the guy some how makes you feel. as far as im concerned he is a geinius and slash's guitar solos some how do the musical equivlent.

It might be to a clue to what band is coing to show up. i mean how is the new GNR going to fit in with the rolling. GNR's new music is way different than was 15 years ago i cant see them fitting in with the stones. Maybe with NIN or something, but i seriously cant see them doing OMG infront of the stones crowd. but it would make sense if it was old GNR.
