It's so funny but I keep reading these things about the old band getting back together but that really doesn't interest me. I really love the new line up. I love the way the songs are sounding so far. I would say I have always been a huge axl fan and a huge fan of the illusion albums. I like the epicness of these new songs. What do you guys think?

THE ORIGINAL GUNS N ROSES, WITH THE CULT AS SUPPORT?:

While Metal Sludge continue their crusade to get to the bottom of dealings within Velvet Revolver...a little extra info has come my way this week.

If you were to believe the rumor mill, plans for a Guns N Roses re-union have firmed, with the upcoming tour dates expected to feature the original line-up (with drummer Matt Sorum from the Use Your Illusion line-up). Apparently the guys have already started rehearsals and plans for extending the current tour dates are being examined.

Also coming to light this week - The Cult are apparently being looked at as a possible support band for the Guns N Roses tour.

Additionally - from another source just today - a Velvet Revolver split could be announced very shortly...

Yeah fucking right totally doupht that. You know it's funny but i almost wouldn't even want to see that happen. I actually really like the new line up. My favorite albums were use your illusions 1 and 2 and really wouldn't want another album like appetite. I liked it but i'm really excited for all of these new guys i think there awesome.

Ok lets just say the album does come out this year. What do is the general prediction in terms of sales? Do you guys think it will hit #1, or even the top 5? Sell more than a million copies? Or do you think the public has lost interest in the 15 years since an original album came out? Soooo many uncertainies....

I'm middle of the road myself...I imagine Axl is probably either that, or leans to the left. I really don't see him as being extreme either way and he certainly doesn't insert himself into political issues (which is good, I'm effin' sick of seeing Bono, for instance, endorsing political candidates).

Well that's kind of a vauge question because if you are a democrat or a republican my change the way you look at what should happen to religion, marriage, taxes, raising children, etc etc. I know that axl was brought up in a strong church background and I also know he used to were "nra" hatts so I kind of believe he Is a republican. Did you really just not know some of the differences between the two? Also what kind of gnr fan are you? Do you hate the new and just love the old or r you really supportive of axl?
