this latest rumor sounds pretty good to me. if we dont see a copy we will know the truth.

misterb over at the other forum even said this pic was fake. he wanted to see how everyone else would react.

Also, I wouldn't say the people at HTGTH are "convinced" it's true. We're not. Most of us have serious doubts (including me, and I posted the information in the first place) that it's coming this Tuesday. But, it IS a good bit to discuss...

I know, "convinced" wasn't the right word, but at least they seem more eager and happy to discuss this. I so hope this is true. Stuff like this just can't appear out of nowhere...

i agree, the rumor just cant appear for no reason. and maybe the thing they are talking about is a release date announcement? but an album dropping would be the best thing right now.

i know thats why its hard to tell whats reliable and whats not. i think that since we havent seen promo yet, that this album could drop any tuesday. and since we dont know how they are going to market this album, the promo could come any day, maybe the weekend before. i hope its this tuesday, but i wouldnt bet my house on it.

so now that thats over, what does everyone think about the possibility of the album coming out this tuesday?

So apparently over at HTGTH they are saying that SIRIUS radio thinks that CD will be coming out next tuesday. Is this a strong possibility? or just another rumor? This came from one of their dj's before playing some (old) GNR songs.

With this being said by Merck himself, would it be stupid to believe that the album may come out the Tuesday after this article gets out?

I really don't understand why people are emailing band members and Merk. Do they honestly believe that a band member is going to tell someone before an official anouncement?

... Even if Axl and the boys (can't really call then GNR, since the web-site basically called them an All-Star backup band) ...

I just thought this was worth pointing out again.

Sad. Such disrespect for his talented, loyal musicians. BBF walks away from his job teaching, leaves his wife behind, and Axl/Merck still can't just call him a part of the band. What do you have to do as a musician to be a 'band' member? That implies equality. When will the finally earn it?

I think the management in charge of the site calls them all star musicians, not axl himself.

So how does everyone think the album is going to come out? Will all of a sudden GNR will say today is the day and you go to Best Buy and there it is? or will a single be released and then a month later we will have CD in our hands? I think its awesome that the press releases and the band members saying the album is still coming out this year, but how?
