  1. I don't know if anyone posted this or not but at Hot Topic they are selling Chinese Democracy style t-shirts in the store. I bought one today at the Hot Topic at Fayette Mall in Lexington Kentucky. My camera's batteries are dead or I would have taken a pic and posted. Oh, the shirts are only 15 bucks.

You're from Lexington?! Thats awesome! I'm from Ashland, KY. I go to Lexington and the Fayette Mall all the time. I actually picked up the same tee at a Hot Topic in Huntington, WV which is only like 20 minutes from Ashland. Nice to see someone else form the Bluegrass state here =)

I am from the bluegrass state also,Hazard Ky were the Duke boys are from lol

  2. Hundreds of heavy metal CDs are released each year, but some are much more anticipated than others. It could be that the artist hasn't released a new CD in a few years, that it's a really popular artist, their last CD was so good you can't wait for the next one, or many other reasons. The following artists are scheduled to release new CDs in 2007, and it will be interesting to see if they live up to the increased expectations.

    1. Metallica

Metallica's last album was 2003's St. Anger, released to much fanfare and an excellent documentary Metallica: Some Kind Of Monster that chronicled the making of that CD that wasn't very well received. The band has a new producer, Rick Rubin along with a new bassist Rob Trujillo. Metallica has been working on this CD for a while now and claim the songs take things back to the old school. The still untitled album is scheduled for release in late 2007.

    2. Judas Priest

Judas Priest's last album Retribution saw the triumphant return of the metal god Rob Halford. The band's next album is scheduled for release in 2007 and is Priest's first concept album, an opus based on the writings of Nostradamus. Like Iron Maiden did with their latest, Priest plans to play the album in its entirety on tour.

    3. Avenged Sevenfold

Avenged Sevenfold's last album City Of Evil saw them move from metalcore toward traditional metal. They crossed over to the mainstream with songs from the album appearing on MTV's TRL. The band is working on a new album that could take them to new commercial heights.

    4. Dillinger Escape Plan

The math metal wizards of Dillinger Escape Plan always come up with something new and creative, and their follow up to Miss Machine is scheduled for release in 2007 and fans of the band can't wait.

    5. Megadeth

Megadeth has seen a resurgence in the past few years with the Dave Mustaine organized Gigantour. The legendary thrash band has signed with Roadrunner Records and their CD United Abominations is to be released in March, 2007.

    6. Guns 'N Roses

After rumors of this album being released for about the past 10 years, there is now an actual release date of March 2007. Guns 'N Roses has been filling arenas as they tour the world, but will this new material live up to the hype? We'll find out very soon.

    7. Anthrax

It's like it's 1986 all over again. Metallica, Megadeth and Anthrax all have new albums due in 2007. This will be Anthrax's first release since the reunion that saw the return of vocalist Joey Belladonna and guitarist Dan Spitz.

    8. Opeth

Opeth's 2005 CD Ghost Reveries was named the best album of the year by this site and many other metal publications. The Swedish band has begun writing their next release, and it is slated to come out toward the end of 2007.

    9. Shadows Fall

Metal fans are always skeptical when a band moves up to a major label. Shadows Fall has made that jump to Atlantic Records, and just a year after Fallout From The War was released, their latest will hit the stores in April, 2007. Threads Of Life will show if the new wave of American heavy metal band holds on to their mantle of one of the rising stars of metal.

    10. HIM

The Finnish dark melodic metal band has drawn a rabid following of fans. Reports from the studio say HIM's upcoming release has a rawer vibe than some of their recent output. The still untitled CD is due sometime in the fall of 2007.
