What time is it there? It's midnight here.

Double Talkin' Jive
Perfect Crime
Locomotive
Garden of Eden
You're Crazy
It needs to be heavier in general.

That's not Axl is it? He didn't look like that in 94. If it said 2001 I would have been more inclined to believe it was him.
It's him. Looks pretty much the same as he did when he
in the same year.No fucking way.
That's not Axl. I know how he looked when he sang with Bruce, but he only got to know Liam Gallagher in 2001.
I know that cause I heard that from Noel. They only been together when they played there. Noel actually said: "he's crazy" (on Axl, that night)
There's a photograph of Liam and Axl together.
The two last great Rock n'Roll Bands by the way
Agreed - it's not Axl in that video.

Axl furious
in 2011
I personally think it was a stunt to try and avoid the media/fans etc
-
It's nothing compared to arguably the worst performance of all time at the Australian Football League Grand Final on Saturday. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you.....
-
They'll open with CD, but I'd most like to see Dead Horse.
-
Aziff.

Money from Rio > Independent Label > Promotion.

What does Axl's poo smell like? I think it would smell like poo.
-
Just crank up the props and light show, ala AC/DC.

This is the only band in the entire world where the more "diehard" of a fan you are the more you don't expect or even seemingly want a new album. What is wrong with you people?
It's an easy way to mask the burning desire to hear new music and kill any expectation at the same time. I'm a diehard and am certain we'll hear more over time...much more.
-
Axl won't rest on the laurels of CD. If anything, CD has released the pressure to release anything. Perhaps with decreased expectation comes great fulfilment.
-
One of the better topics presented recently, but perhaps needs refinement. Continue what exactly?
I'm no psychologist, but it would seem to me that Axl isn't the type to cease touring or creating new music. Once there is an agreement contractually I believe we will see another release. I personally just can't see Axl resting on any laurels and I think the best is certainly yet to come. The strive for excellence is too great.
Cheers.

I'm more interested in Slash and Axl communicating and hopefully one day, being mates again. Far more important than a reunion in the scheme of things.
-
I found Axl's vocals better at Sydney than Perth. Also overheard people complaining at Sydney that Slash wasn't there during the show....
Axl's attitude has been first class all the way for mine and really does seem to be enjoying himself. Obviously the sound was rubbish at Burswood '07 and Axl's tequila admission wouldn't have helped things.
2010 shows were far better than 2007 - better production, sound and cohesion from the group.
Thanks again for coming guys!
-
See you all there!

Have a massive flying phobia but travelled across from Perth just to see Gunners.
Shat myself on the plane but this show was so very worth it.
Thanks GNR.

When your into the set, you barely know Axl is gone. He actually doesn't take that long getting changed.
When he played here in Oz 2007, I reckon he was off the stage for at least 40% of the total show.
He was hungover though....
-
Arguably the topic/post of the year and what all fans of Gunners should be focusing their collective energy on.
Respect.

Alright guys, so these dates are unusually spread apart distance wise and aren't in capital cities... still I've noticed a number of people that seem keen to travel for the shows. I'm sure like me, not many of your friends are going to want to travel to Townsville or Adelaide to see GN'R and you guys might be faced with the prospects of going to the shows on your own...!
So I'm going to try to get an idea of numbers - where people are from, what shows they are going to and whether they'll be flying, driving, etc and see what I can do in terms of organising meetups, finding cheapest flights (probably only for people travelling from Sydney) and we can try book the same ones, etc. Alternatively, if you're an Adelaide or Townsville local and want to help out giving advice on where to stay, drink, eat, etc that would be great.
This may well end up as a massive fail, but I thought i'd at least give it a shot...!
So post in the thread below where you're from and what your intentions are in terms of making the shows. I'll edit the first post with the names of those attending the shows.

Perth? (Rumoured)
Sydney and Perth for me.

A few guys here have expressed an interest in travelling to all three - might be good if some of us can try to stick together through it or catch up for beers pre-shows, etc.

Will be at Sydney and Perth.

Already flying from Perth to Sydney to see 'em, but will see 'em here too in any case.
Let's hope they don't play Burswood Dome again....

Flying in from Perth for this one.

I've always wondered.
