As you all know I have to say slipknot and mudvayne.. but I think pulling the back up is devildriver, Shadowsfall, and Kill switch... which I havent heard children of bodom... but I have to say, i'm pretty sure that while, linkin park does somewhat kickass at what they do, they're not hard enough to make it out of the hard rock section, muchless to the Heavy Metal section.... and Metallica.. come on, what tha fuck are you smokin man.... and pass it this way..lol.

Hands down, Joey Jordinson, or however you spell his name... eithe rhim or the dude from mudvayne, and the only wya you can argue is if you havent heard either one, or you havent paid attention when you heard 'em, or bring up Neil Peart.. but thats not fair...

my favorite song-writer, which no one cares, or will even agree because you've probably never listened to any of the songs he's wrote, would have to be Chad from mudvayne... if you'd all open your minds and try listening to 'em you would see that he's definatly better than bob dylan or for fucks sake, Micheal Jackson... whoever that was that put him as a great song writer, seriously... what the hell? Anyway.. a snippet of his writting ability... and other than him, I have to say my favorite song writter is Danzig.. yes, you heard me right.. danzig.. from the misfits.. Glen, fucking danzig is the best song writter ever.. Johnny Cash, AND Roy orbison actually asked him to write them songs, along with a host of other's.. the song less than zero, for the movie soundtrack... Danzig wrote it.. thirteen, by johnny cash... Danzig wrote it.. and along with writting all his songs, he writes the music and hires his musicians for the album, shows them what he wants done, give sthem a the sound and they play it. He has an album of composed music called black aria that is badass... here's the mudvayne song

Just my opinion, but thats badass..

I think the designed goal in their music is to keep it as one beat through out the whole song. Yes, i've heard of trigger's, if you have ever watched the slipknot DVD... oh fuck... cant rememeber the name of it.. anyway.. you can change camera angles, and there's a camera underneath Joey's feet, that fucker is fast. I dont think they would call him the fastest drummer in metal if he "sucked balls", I think was the term. Asfor their "lameass masks", I think it's alot better than that of any other metal bands, and way more kickass than gwar... also, if you knew anything about slipknot, then you would understand that, the band looks at slipknot, as an entity, and the costumes are the alter ego of the band members, I think it's alot better than stealing your mom's make-up and dressing up like a mime that got in a bad eyeliner accident.

Ya know, alot of people here are ripping the band, but ahve you ever sat down and listened to them? Like, read the lyrics, see what he has to say. Maybe listen to the music, seriously, listen to teh music. Asfar as them, blowing.. thats not saying anything comming from someone at a guns n' roses forum. I think they're badass, and besides, you show me anybodyw ho can keep up with Joey on drums, someone as wide ranged as Corey is on vocals... asfar as anybody pissing on a drum kit, i'd rather him piss on teh drum kit than start a riot, or cancel the show cause the lead singer's having a temper tantrem. Ya know, it's closed minded people like you is exsactcly why we're still "waiting" on an album.. if all of you and Axl would just let it go, and realise that, not only have the 80's passed, but so have the 90's, and there's much better, more aggressive music out there.. i'd rather hear "I wasnt promised a thing, you keep mocking me... but you will never again, befor eyou now it, after you're gone" or "my freedom is best, whole countries on house arrest and everyone's a suspect, you cant feel the flow because ya died, face down on a suicide. tha motherfucker's on selfdestruct, nobody guardin your back it's all a front, save this, my rage is bliss, i'm takin names and gettin pissed", over "all we need is just alittle patience.. ooh-oooh just alittle patience".. or even better"welcome to the jungle., we got fun and games"... ya know, fun and games are for the kids and revolution owners, but as slipknot said, get ya lips ready gonna gag gonna make ya sick, ya got dick when they passin out the good stuff.. or to fit y'all better, how about what guns n' roses said.. what was it.. oh yeah.. dont you cry tonight, there's a heaven above you baby..lmao

I think i've seen like, one or two since i've been here, and i'm just wondering, if there's any here besides me? I mean, surely i'm not the only one who appreciates real artistry in music, not to mention can appreciate real music genuis.

I don't know. I think this question is pretty hard. There's alot of really sad songs.. but the saddest would have to be like.. vermillion, danger keep away, and circle by slipknot, if you're going by the meaning of the songs.... If you're lookin at it from a lyrical stand point, maybe like a Home by Micheal Buble, or Ephinany by staind, maybe forget to remember by mudvayne.... maybe if you dont know me by now, that one's pretty sad too... Don't cry and november rain's pretty said as a whole, musically and lyricaly and meaning.. those are my favorite sad songs oh, and Rose of Sharyon by Killswitch engage.. if you havent heard any of these songs, like the slipknot songs and mudvayne.. it'll change your perspective on 'em.. anywho..it is what it is

Well, I think given Mr. Rose's past actions, that the need to panic is there, and for those that did, you did deservedly so. It wouldnt shock me, or piss me off, I bought tickets to the last tour, and of course he cancled.. so i'm not real excited about it. I say he's four or five shows away from realising the 80's and 90's are over, there's better bands out, and not as many people care, like before. I'm not a hater, i'm a big Axl Rose fan.. but, it is what it is....

ok, everyone's been replaced, and most of their replacements replaced, when's Axl going to be replaced and the album put on the shelves, and replaced by another album, which will be replaced by another album as soon as that album gets the big head...

For the most part I feel the set list will be similiar. I think they will play several different new songs though. For instance better instead of cd or something along those lines. I also think they will throw in songs like dont cry, and civil war which were not played during the 2002 tour.

I have a feeling the setlist wont be the only thing that'll be the same this year, as in 2002. I'm sure we'll get a canceled show, a few good shows, another cancled show and prolly a cancelation of the whole thing. I love Guns asmuch as everybody else, and am a huge Axl fan, but let's face it, Gn'r died along time ago, and until slash and everybody else is ready to admit that velvet sucks a big green one, and Axl admit's the new Gn'r isnt gn'r, (more like ARn'company), then everyone might aswell settle in, get a blanket, turn on some ole gn'r, close your eye's, and pretend it's 1987 again.
