I'm not really finding a lot of new great music. Does anyone have any suggestions?

New bands/music - or - new albums from older bands that haven't been shed enough light on?

The only "new" band I've taken a liking to is Young the Giant.

The biggest rock bands of newer times 2000 --> are/were Audioslave, Muse, Kings of Leon, The White Stripes, Strokes, and Linkin Park, and Coldplay. They've made it to the main stream.

It's too much focus on Kanye West, Nicky Minaj,Lil Wayne and even acts like Taylor Swift and Justin Beiber these days. The rock bands are in the shadow. Good rock bands with great guitar riffs don't infiltrate the main public like they used to. Eg. Buckcherry, Avenged Sevenfold, Velvet Revolver, Black Stone Cherry, Alter Bridge are all great bands which haven't really been recognized as much as they should.
