  1. If anyone at MSG is looking for the shorts, I found the black ones at the merch stand to the right after having your ticket scanned (did not see them on any concourse stand.)  And because I was on the suite level, I had access to the event level VIP area, where they were selling the white shorts.  I did not see a stand where they sold both at the same time.

Hey everyone! This is my first show at the Garden and I am staying in Newark. What is the transit situation like? Do they run that late coming back?

Yes, you can take the New Jersey Transit to and from Newark before and after the show.  Just note that both the train stations where MSG is and the one in Newark are called Penn Station, which can be confusing if you aren't familiar with the transit system.

Because Don't Damn Me is just a filler on Use your Illusion I.

Well it says something when the "filler" of an album is also one of its best songs.  I have always loved that song, it kicks so much ass.

My top 3 on UYI I:

    1. Don't Damn Me

    2. Coma

    3. Back Off Bitch

  4. were izzy, slash or lenny kravitz at either of the concerts? if yes, what songs did they play?

Lenny Kravitz was in attendance on Sunday night, but he did not play with the band. Fred Durst was there as well. The only person to joing the band on stage so far has been Sebastian Bach for a duet on My Michelle at all three shows so far. Axl mentioned Izzy on Monday several times, but he has yet to appear. I would be very surprised if we see or hear anything of Slash being there.

  5. Was Oh My God played last night? Some people are saying yes and some are saying no..

Definitely not. I was there as well. They did not play it. Someone probably mistook CD for it since it hasn't been as well-circulated as other new tracks.

    Damn, thanks dude :)

No problem. Good show overall though. No sign of Izzy, definitely no Slash. The best and most familiar old face was Sebastian Bach. Got to stand next to him through most of the set, had a great time. I'll post a link to my review for Blender when it's up.

  7. 05.14.06 - Hammerstein Ballroom, New York City, USA

opening acts: Bullet For My Valentine

attendance: 3,800 - roughly full capacity

set:- Welcome to the Jungle, It's So Easy, Mr. Brownstone, Rocket Queen, Dizzy Solo leading into The Blues, Live and Let Die, Richard Fortus Solo, Knockin' On Heaven's Door, Better, You Could Be Mine, Robin Finck Solo, Sweet Child Of Mine, Out Ta Get Me, November Rain, Bumblefoot Solo, Oh My God, My Michelle (w/Sebastian Bach), Patience, Richard Fortus Solo, Night Train, Robin Finck Solo, Paradise City,

audio/video: clips are surfacing of both.

Notes: Bumblefoot left for the whole of November Rain and when Axl stopped before the grand finale he said something along the lines of "And to my right our newest. . . . . .I guess he quit already." then Bumblefoot came out and they started the end of November Rain. There Was A Time, I.R.S., Madagascar and Chinese Democracy disappear from the set and are replaced with Rocket Queen, extra solos and Oh My God. Axl wears the same as the previous performance, denim Jeans and a black-buttoned shirt. Axl tells the crowd how Sebastian Bach saved the day, as when he woke up, he'd lost his voice, and he saw a vocal coach to get his voice back. Sebastian guests on vocals with Axl once more on My Michelle.

    There we go :)

YES!! THEY PLAYED OH MY GOD!!!

That wasn't Oh My God, it was the song Chinese Democracy.
