called MSG....

was told that any ticket that says GA is General Admission Standing in the front...

the first 4 "Floor" sections are gone but GA6 (GA9, etc....) means GA standing in the front...."Floor 6", etc.... refers to the floor seats...

they just label the GA tickets GA6, 9, etc...to keep track of ticket sales...

the first 4 floor sections are being removed at MSG for the GA section. Sections 5 - 12 on the floor will be reserved seating.

that's really really fucking lame....i bought GA tickets and was planning on getting there way early so i could be on the rail....

now i read that my "general admission" (meaning go where ever you want on the floor) is actually a reserved seating (or at least section with a seat ticket) even though it says GA on it multiple times and General Admission Standing once...

fucking lame....

my ticket is GA9....and i'm fucking pissed right now....if i get there early then have to be in a seated section...lame....

i had planned to get in line fairly early as i have floor...but maybe i'll just find someplace close to chil for a while until i see a line start forming...i'm still gonna head to the city fairly early because i want a good spot but the forecast for tomorrow sucks ass....

can't wait

i've got a floor ticket and obviously want to be up on the rail...hence the reason i'm trying to figure out when people will get there...i want to be towards the front of the line...

just wondering what time most of you going tomorrow (the 12th, or to the other NY shows) to start standing in line at the venue....

i am looking for 1 (or 2) floor ticket to the 12th...or 2 (or 3) floor tickets to the 15th...

any help would be greatly appriciated...

and did people manage to get tix in the general sale?

i did...until ticketmaster decided that i didn't....

i had 4 floor...i went though all the steps...it pay..and i get some error about them not knowing if it went through or not and to check my account...

obviously it wasn't there...

i had yesterdays passes and nothing...i never received this email about the new shows but it seems highly unlikely now that its 7 min. til and there's nothing about them anywhere other than talk on GNR forums...

So you're saying Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath aren't big bands? No one ever gets more than an hour at Ozzfest except whoever Ozzy is playing with, and thats usually an hour and 15 mins.

the first password, n/a, as we all know didn't work.

then they mailed out another one ending in "y".

However, they mailed out more than one password ending in "y"!!! I know of two passwords that both work. Wonder why. How bizarre.

my guess is when they changed the other password to Y it confused the system and sold both presale tickets at once...

there should be more tomorrow they never sale out a show in the presale...there's always an allotment...why change that now?
