I was at the first Hammerstein show, and have watched many of the RIO performances, and I think he sounds the best on the new tunes (IRS, Better and the Blues). I mean on IRS, he really is screaming and sounds fantastic. I think he sounds great regardless, but I think the new tunes sound the best (vocally) for whatever reason.

I just gotta say this..

I had never seen Guns before the 12th, but when Robin soloed and then broke into SCOM front stage... that was my GnR moment.. and I'll never forget it. I loved the show, I thought they were all fantastic. People can bitch all they want, but they aren't going to change what I just experienced.

You won't have to worry about me trying to get up front! I'll be hiding out in back.. drinking and rockin out as best I can

as soon as the doors are open im going in and getting to the front. and axl will have to come out before 1030 or 11 because there is a 11 curfew at the hammerstein.

I'll be staying up at the Hilton NY, on Ave. of the America's. I guess I'll probably roll in right around 7:30 too. Is Grey's Papaya nearby? I could go for downing a few tasty dogs as a pre-cursor to all the beer that will be drank. God I can't wait... 2 of my favorite things, NYC and GnR.

I was just curious as to when people think they will actually be venturing into Hammerstein on May 12th (or any of the 4 dates for that matter). Are you gonna skip the opening band, catch just a little, plan on axl not coming out until around 10:30-11? I'm just curious.

I just got the email today saying that mine were printed..... so I'm not expecting them for a few days.

I'm flying in on Thursday from Minneapolis... flights can be found for a reasonable fare. God I'm excited. Hopefully this is it for the announced shows... and I'll actually be at the first one.

Love it... I got screwed by ticketmaster yesterday, but 2 floor tickets to the 12th today... I'm pumped!
