i saw GNR in 2002 they were horrible.. i saw gnr in 2006 they were great. so i think they can be a good live act but they have to establish themselves as a band first and release a god damn cd. Other than that i would put them at the near top of the list of shows to see.. ive seen many concerts, DMB, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Eagles, and many more my favorite band to see is DMB its a great show i recomend it to everyone to go out and experience it and i know im going to get made fun of for that. I think the best concert ive seen was the eagles they are such great musicians and it sounded great then it would be DMB and then GNR

Sure. It's easy to recreate a "full" sound when you have 4 guitarists and 2 keyboard players up on stage as opposed to 2 guitarists and 1 keyboard player. Also, when there's that much noise going on, if you make a mistake, nobody in the audience is going to notice because they can't hear individual guitarists properly.

For me "less is more", especially in cases like this. Anyone can chuck a whole heap of guitarists on stage and create a "wall" of noise - it's not hard... but when it's just one (or two in this case) guitarist creating the sound, a lot more skill is required and I find it more impressive to watch.

Plus you can actually hear what they're doing. There's not a single video I can find where I can make out what Izzy is doing up there in any of the songs he guests on.

What I reckon is happening here is that Brain is out of the band for good and Frank is recording ALL drum parts again for the album. Just in the same way that I bet no Buckethead will be heard on the album.

yea chinese democracy is suppost to be out, remember how happy we were when GNR played those amazing shows at Hammerstein.. yea ive been looking forward to Chinese Democracy since 2002 when Axl sadly tried to play a US tour, this time around its different, Axl has a fire lit under his ass and he has one more chance to get everyone back if he blows it then so be it but lets not sit here and look into different aspects of the band lets hope for the CD to be out in 2006 and if its not january 1st 2007 then we can all start hating on Axl Rose but until then Axl is still the man

On friday october 20th the red hot chili peppers played a concert at The TD Banknorth Garden and they were an hour and a half late due to weather and traffic.. Guns N Roses, 12.2.2002 were late at the TD Banknorth Garden (formerly fleet center)

This has to be one of the worst reviews I have personally ever read. Yes it is unbiased but seriously the bottom line is if Axl wants to be succesful he has to get his vocals in shape and he cant be showing up late for concerts left and right. Its unneccesary for him to be showing up two hours late. If he was showing up two hours late and there was nobodies lives in danger then that would be fine, but you guys have to realize when Axl is late he puts thousands of peoples lives in danger. He needs to show up on time if hes interested in gaining the status of what GNR use to be. He is insulting the label of GNR himself because he is giving them a bad image. Axl needs to show up on time, release the cd this fall and show up to every show. That is the only way Axl is going to be back. But dont sit there and say that it was one of the best concerts you've ever been to (unless your concert going isnt that great) but im sure out of the dozen bands you have seen out of 12 one of those bands were better than what you saw last night. Good effort on the review but your just stating the obvious.

Ok everyone keep it in your pants, everyone needs to take this "2006 world tour" for granted. Axl has a miserable track record for not shwoing up it should just be common sense by now. He likes to be late for some odd reason. First of all i dont really give a sh*t if Axl is showing up late for concerts in Madrid or anywhere else in Europe. I dont care if hes late I just want to hear music. The date we should all be worrying about it when Chinese Democracy will finnaly be released. That is the date you want Axl to show up on. Until then you fuckers can stop whining about Axl showing up because I give the guy credit, he has to deal with a lot of adversity and he hasnt failed us in 2006... yet
