    When Axl said that the new version of Silkworms has a new chorus, I was expecting something else. This version barely has a chorus. It's just Axl saying Absurd over and over again, but the strange thing is that it works. This is probably the most electronic song by GNR ever. Sounds like Prodigy. It's a song about pussies full of maggots, so don't expect a lyrical masterpiece. But I love the energy of Silkworms especially. There's also a calm part in the middle of the song that's totally different compared to anything I've heard from GNR before. That part sounds kinda like Radiohead.

    He didn't said it had a new chorus, he specifically said "the chorus is gone". I remember because he answered my question about it.

    Dude, you get Olympics and all that shit all the time, whether it's in your country or next to you. Can you be a little bit happy that it's finally gonna be in South America once? After that, you'll probably get the next 18717189192 olympics, don't worry.

    And as for Rock in Rio, my beef is with Mr. Medina. The only decent festival in SA and he moves it to Europe, that has a lot of festivals already and bands go on their own all the time also. We needed something down here.

    But this year I don't care. Guns is finally coming, so keep Rock in Rio. :thumbsup:

    don't get me wrong, I'm happy for Rio. We're equipping all of our athletes with uzis, though...

    TWAT was played, and was the highlight of the night for me. Bumblefoot solo was amazing!!!!

    Fake. Rhiad wasn't played, and TWAT was.

    R U Sure? I'm not, but after listening several times the demo songs I really think that the played song was Rihad. If you are sure, excuse me, please.

    I agree with you, but i think Robin Finck is doing the Retroevolution, he looked exactly like Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull.. rock2

    just a few words to discuss about the new songs: i guess is the normal evolution of the band, taking into account that is possible to see some of the "new" sounds in some of the tracks of the illusions. why fans critizice so much on that songs?, maybe we can blame it on the neverendeing release of the chinese democracy, but it would be great if fans were more open minded to the new songs. this is something i was discussing at the end of the show: take a look at pearl jam, their new album has nothing to do with TEN. If at that time you say to their fans that they could listen to a song like Alive next to a song like Unemployable for sure they couldn´t belive that and I can imagine lots of complainings!!!!, but today it is so acceptable that the evolution is there, and that is possible to listen to those songs and not thinking of different bands. Maybe GN´R fans, we, should start thinking like that, maybe the evolution is there.... and personally i like it!.

    I bet 30% of the audience were expecting to see Splash on the stage last night.

    I admit i felt very ashamed for the Spanish audience.

    If you don't like solos, you sould've stayed at home.

    If you don't accept 2 hour delay fon G'N'R, you sould've stayed at home.

    If you think Axl is an "Hijo de Puta", you sould've stayed at home.

    If you think the band stole your money... you sould've stayed at home.

    Why are this people complaining about?????? ok, the band was 2 hous late... have u waited for your girlfriend some time????? i´ve waited longer!!!!!!!!! and no complains!!!!!! yes, i got what i wanted at the end.. jeejejejeje... but, the set list was amazing, the band attitude was extraordinary, even with some fuckers throwing beers and telling Axl son of a bitch... and they completed a great show... that was worth the wait, as some friends of mine, true fans that were at the concert, told me.

    So, come on spanish people, if you havent seen GNR since 1992, grow up, we have new members, with different skills than the original band, but you heard PC, KOHD, SCOM, NR... and a good bunch of new songs... so, stop complaing about nothing, i envy you, i wish i have guns on my city, i have waited for 13 years, two hours is not that much...
