Why was yours $326? Mine came out to $310 for Pit.
I got a Pit 1 ticket and a Pit 2 ticket, and am hoping to trade the Pit 2 for a Pit 1.
It's annoying how Ticketmaster releases tickets. It seems as if it would release no pit tix if I had quantity of 2 selected. It would only cough one up if I had 1 selected, so I had to do multiple purchases and pay two service fees to get 2 pit tix, which of course ended up in separate sections . Also it seemed like Pit 1 was not immediately available and released later. There's definitely an algorithm that only TM and GNR are privy to, LOL. I almost yearn for the days of just getting in line at Ticketmaster or BASS outlets. You had to get up early but you didn't have to deal with computer problems and browser issues beyond your control.

Got 2 tix in Pit 2... Hoping to trade for Pit 1 tix to be with friends, but either way it's gonna be a blast!

GNR posted a modified cross logo 4/23 on Twitter, with just Axl, Slash & Duff, and a middle finger where Izzy's skull once was. Anyone think this was a subtle jab at Izzy and/or Steven?

I'm looking to swap pit tickets for the L.A. shows. We have two Pit 2 tickets for 8/18 and one Pit 2 ticket for 8/19. We're looking to trade for Pit 1 tickets. The band members move around a lot so it doesn't really matter in those respects, but it would still be nice to be in the same pit as our friends. PM me if interested.

Izzy is an unsung hero of classic GNR. Much like Malcolm was to AC/DC. Izzy helped write some of their best stuff and his style was an integral part of the GNR sound. The boys are sounding great right now, but pity Izzy's not involved.

Watching a bunch of the videos from the Vegas shows... Fuck, at times Axl is sounding more ferocious than he has in a long time!!! Still not sure why there's a 13-year-old rave girl with Beats By Dre headphones on stage (did she remember the permission slip from her school principal?), but the Big 3 are all I'm really paying attention to anyway! LOL. Really looking forward to seeing them.

Just tried for pit tix at San Francisco and San Diego for the general sale. Nothing available.

Tried both the Facebook and the LiveNation presales, no pit tix seem to have been allocated to either. Guess I'm stuck with a scalper. Lame.

So we do this Nightrain scam and can't get tickets to shows......which is the whole purpose for joining...honestly what a joke.
And they tweeted/facebooked how Nightrain members getting first access to tickets, the night before the Troubadour gig. Can't tell me they didn't know a ton of people would join specifically for a shot at that gig. Total bullshit.

I couldn't get over how expensive the VIP tickets were. You drop close to a couple of grand for a souvenir laminate, an open bar, and take a picture on the stage before the show, and you don't even get to meet the band?!?

So, I tried to get tickets during the Nightrain pre-sale, and Ticketmaster had enormous issues on mobile for me. By the time I got home onto a laptop, the Pit tickets were gone. Does anyone know if there will be more Pit tickets allocated to the general public sale this Friday? Or are they all gone during the pre-sale? I can't afford to spend 4 times the face value to get one on Stubhub.

The Vegas shows are perhaps considered to be near enough to LA.
I wonder if they are saving LA gigs for the anniversary year?
Maybe I'm wrong, but as far away as it is, I think they are considering Coachella dates in Indio the "L.A. dates". Similarly, sometimes bands play San Bernardino as the only date down here, even though it's not 'L.A. proper'.

My Michelle. The creepy intro still gives goosebumps, and the main riff is still one of their most rockin' and badass!!!

I almost could enjoy this more if I were in another state or country. So frustrating to watch and follow, having been in line this morning and cut off! Yet I can't pull myself away

Anyone who didn't get a ticket, going to the venue anyway? Might be able to meet the band as they enter the venue. Also, wonder if you'd be able to hear them playing from outside.

And by the way, I have a Live Like A Suicide EP and original cover Appetite LP, each signed by both Slash and Duff. Anyone who gets me into the show tonight, they're yours!

Just got back home from the Tower Records lot, was about halfway up the line but still didn't get a ticket. After the cutoff, security walked up and told us they had a lot more to sell, but the band's guest list kept growing so we got cut off. I think that's a bummer, because their friends can get on the guest list and watch close up from the side of the stage at any of their shows. Not sure how many wristbands were actually given out. Anyone know?

Guns N' Roses 1985 fliers
in MEMORABILIA TRADING
Posted · Edited by venomize
I'm auctioning a couple of GN'R 1985 fliers from my collection. Apologies in advance if this is not allowed, but I hope it is!
I started collecting GN'R in 87-88, and while over recent years have whittled down my collection, I held on to some of my oldest, most prized pieces. Unfortunately at this point, I need to part with some of those as I got laid off this year. I'm starting with a couple of 85 fliers, if anyone is interested, you can find them at Heritage Auctions, I'll provide descriptions and links.
1) 8.5”x5.5” flyer for what I believe was Guns N’ Roses 2nd-ever gig, at Radio City in Anaheim, CA on 4/11/85. This pre-Appetite For Destruction lineup featured W. Axl Rose (vocals), Izzy Stradlin’ (guitar), Duff McKagan (bass), Tracii Guns (guitar), and Rob Gardner (drums). This performance marked Duff's live debut with GN'R, after original bassist Ole Beich was fired following their 1st-ever gig under the Guns N' Roses moniker at The Troubadour on 3/26/85.

2) 8.5”x11” flyer for what I believe was Guns N’ Roses’ 24th-ever gig (their 17th performance with the “classic” Appetite For Destruction lineup of W. Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin’, Duff McKagan & Steven Adler), at The Music Machine in L.A. on 12/20/85.

Thanks for looking!
