I saw that article. One of the band members, the drummer I believe, went on to make a very nasty comment about Axl. I was wondering about retaliation but Axl may think that it's not even worthy of a response.

GA is general admission. The numbers do not mean anything. I believe that Continental Airlines Arena has two GA sections though, VIP, which is closer to the stage, and the standard GA behind it.

After the show Sat. night, some guy handed me and my friend free passes to Body English to go "party with the band". We got something to eat first then went back around 2:30 a.m. and hung out for a while. I don't think he ever showed. Cool club though.

Same here. He never showed. I was so upset that I wasn't there on Sunday night but who knew? I wonder if I could have even gotten close to him? Were you and your friend the girls I was talking to on line for Body English and then saw in the airport?

In the video for the making of Estranged, the band talks about how difficult it is to play live. I am not sure where I read this and it may not be correct, but I believe that the new band is not up to playing it.

I was at the Saturday night show and the security guards working the door were extremely rude and nasty, there was no talking to them. They wouldn't even let me back in The Joint to buy a t-shirt which I am still very upset about. Judging from the behavior that I observed, this story sounds totally believable.

Saw them at the Hammerstein on 5/17/06......the only night in NY that Izzy played. They were amazing but BFMV was horrible and Baz doesn't really have a voice anymore. He pretty much just screeches.

I did not care for them at all. I appreciate how difficult the treadmill performance was to pull off but I thought it was a bit silly and it detracted from the music.

Ok, so I am answering my own question. Just in case anyone is interested, I called the Hard Rock and as of now there are two supporting bands scheduled to open for GnR. The names of the bands have not yet been announced and according to the Hard Rock, this information is subject to change.

Oh I agree. It was almost painful to watch.

Painful was the exact word I used to describe the show. Nothing exciting or spontaneous happened, the normally funny Jack Black and Sarah Silverman fell flat and most of the performances were barely watchable. Like most, I only stuck with it to see Axl and as usual, when he finally did appear, I was so happy that I forgot how horrible the waiting was.

I noticed that in the inside cover of Del James' book "The Language of Fear" there is a reference to another Del James book titled "Shattered Illusions: The Authorized Biography of Guns N' Roses." The information states that book was scheduled for release in 1995, however, I am unable to locate any such book. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this book and the circumstances surounding the fact that it was never released. In addition, I was wondering if anyone knows what the current relationship is between Del James and Axl.

We are lucky to get presale password from HTGTH just for being part of an unofficial message board. I've never seen that with any other band out there. + It is better than all other presales, because #1 it doesn't cost and money and #2 everybody doesn't have it like radiostation presales. I think we should all give thanks to the people in charge of these presales who help us out like this.
