  1. hmm i think you need to explain why it limits you :) as i can't understand how it would :)

say you're doing work as a session musicion and you're working with professional people. if they've got a guitar part for you and there are many other instruments (all in music notation) then you obviously need to have that skill.

i think it applies more when you're in a professional enviroment.

I think you mean that NOT knowing sheet music limits you

    now i get it.

    it was foggy before.

  2. Reading music does limit you as a guitarist a fair bit, but it really limits you generally as a musician (other instruments etc.)

what? the only difference is that you cab read notes, which helps you when wanting to pick up another instrument, since they both are often written in G exception bass which notated in F.

it doesn't change how you play/style etc..

    1. i didn't say it changed how you play or your style, i just said it limits you in certain aspects.

    2. "since they both are often written in G exception bass which notated in F." - dont get what u mean

  4. Avril Lavigne cannot sing, there are another girl singing on the recordings.

And she doesn't write her own songs so is not a muscician, just an artist like Paris Hilton. Or shall we say joke.

Avril Lavigne learn to sing you dendrophile.

  5. don't know much thin lizzy... i really wanna get into them though, what albums should i check out?

    Start with "Jailbreak"

    then get "Black Rose"

the follow up with "Live and Dangerous" and "Johnny the Fox"

    then you get "Bad Reputation"

when youve gone this far you need no more assistance :)

Chinatown is the second album he should buy, after Black Rose. Jailbreak is third.

noh man thats for hardcore fans like you and me, Jailbreak is what gets you into the Lizzy sound

  6. i got to see them last year (without phil of course)

first concert ever and although i was at the back row of the balcony it was still one of the best nights of my life

i go up to dublin every now and again and always go straight to his statue :)

some racist irish site was making plans to tear it down though :anger:

    WHAT!??!?!?!?!?!? :angry::fuckyou::anger:

    Phil is my hero.

I am a huge fan, and they were always loved in Sweden.

Black Rose is a masterpiece though one song or two can be discussed.

It is a lifegoal of mine to visit the statue, and maybe his grave and pay my respect.
