  1. Can someone find out if more dates will be added. I'm hoping they come to Albany, if not I'll have to go somewhere else.

    I hear ya!

well, thats if your in Albany, NY and not Albany, Ga. I was hoping they would come to SPAC (Saratoga Performing Arts Center)...seeing I live walking distance...which means I can get EXTRA shity. I seen them there in 88 which was nice :) As it stands now, I wont make any shows seeing I need to drive to any of the shows i can make. The closet one is in Mass, but its on a Tuesday which is a no-go for a dad raising 3 teens by himself -school night. Oh well, life is cool like that :)

Philadelphia is missing. So dont feel bad. Last time I seen GNR the Illusion Tour up in Hershey PA. Gilby Clarke was with them. They proberly still owe a law suit here in Phila. I remember that well. people were in at the venue and they canceled. Riot broke out. arghhhhhhhhhhhh Phila. proberly slapped a lawsuit on Axl and company

  2. :rofl-lol:

If you need information about the band's tour, why not check their official website?

    ... Oh yea.

Geeee I live in one of the biggest concert cities, Philadelphia, and he just skipped right over us!WTF. Maybe if they came on a normal time like most bands do, I would of went to MSG. But Mr. Rose likes to do his own thing!! And f--k everyone else!! arghhhhhhhh . Im fuming here because of the skipping over philly. And its proberly because Philadelphia is still pissed over the riot from that canceled show!! arghhhhhhhhhh

  3. When they playin Philly?! :P

I dont know, guess I will be living on the ticketmaster site to find out. Or wait for some announcement. Looks like they are starting on the Westcoast. I wonder if Sebastian Back will be opening up for GNR? I know Baz has some dates in Sept in Europe still.

  4. I wonder if Axl will join Mr. Bach at his show?

Well, I guess I might find out. My neice is going to buy tickets now!

I have never seen Skid Row in concert? Asked around and it sounds like fun?

I saw Skid Row (with the Sebastian Bach clone) open for Kiss a few years back...

tell your neice to sell the tickets

I would never waste my time seeing Skid Row without Sebastian. He was the bands energy. Hes a great frontman. I seen SR with Bach back in the 80's. He rocks. I generally would give a band with a new singer a chance. But im a little pissy what SR did to Baz.. Baz dont even have ownership of the name Skid Row because of his EX bandmates. He was explaining it during his Supergroup show. And now knowing all of that.. now :fuckyou: to skid row!

  5. ok, a few questions.. #1 where are they going into? #2 WTF is Sebastian carrying a beer? He said in a interview with VH1 during Supergroup show he doesnt drink anymore.. he fall off the wagon?? #3 WTF is that female in the Limo??

As far as Dizzy.. Ive seen way better photos..

Ok forgert about the 1st question and the one about the female in the Limo.. i found out. lol. so stupid I am. I have a few more minutes here at work then im on VACATION!

  6. everything is working very well out and Guns N' Roses are going to be bigger than... I don't know, as big as they used to. no GN'R tour can be finished without giving something nobody will forget! AFD tour: well, the music mostly, and a new band gaining the world. USI tour: the music, gnr becoming the baddest band on earth, st. louis incident, riots and more. CD ('02) tour: well, Axl's comeback, new bandmates, unfinished tour. CD ('06) tour: all that you said.

GUNS N' ROSES are the 2 and a half words that this world may keep whatever happens to it and will never forget 'em.

My question is, will GNR be big again here in the USA? Since the tour cancelation in 2002 caused some riots, its maybe hard for the band to play in some cities, including my city of Philadelphia. I know a few radio djays that are not liking Axl Rose whatsoever. Hes really got a bad rap with some people here. Its going to be a have to prove myself tour with no cancelations, etc.

  7. Don't take this as a bashing thread as it isn't. I'm a LONG time Gn'R fan. My thoughts are that now Axl is older and maturer does anyone else not buy the songs about drugs and such anymore?

I mean when I saw GnR in 89', I could see them singing "Out ta get me" and "Mr. Brownstone" as that was what GnR were all about, but I don't see that side of Axl anymore. He's supposedly drug free, so the meaning behind Mr. Brownstone is lost. Don't get me wrong, I love every song from AFD, but I think the message that the songs had doesn't translate anymore to someone who doesn't live that lifestyle. Face it folks, Axl has grown up on us :) I'd expect to see more maturer songs on the current tour from the UYI albums and quite frankly I'm really surprised to not see more of them.

I see people begging for Get in the Ring and such, but again, no longer relevant. I think it's important for Axl to plan a setlist that focuses on his maturity and growth.

This isn't an invitation for bashing, just a more in depth discussion on setlists and the thought that goes into them.

hemm how long have you been a fan if you dont mind me asking?

  8. I can use a new GNR shirt!!!! Mine are from the 80's!!! I almost bought a Illusion shirt this past weekend. I had to stop myself because I havent gotten paid and didnt want to touch my rent money. What I do have is a real gold GNR charm. I had it made in 1987 Its really cool. I couldnt find it the other day. I am still searching when I find it I will take a photo and show everyone!!

  9. I think Axl is more together now then back in the 80's.. and personally I think all those party, booze crap is made up by the media. The man goes out, likes to have a nice time, the media is there and needs a story on someone, so they see Axl and they start writing, writing stuff they dont see.. They turn a night of having a good time to something else. I try not to even listen to the media anymore. I like to hear both sides of the story before I believe anything. Anyway I dont think Axl wants to kill his body with drugs and acohol. I think hes been there done that.. Hes looking good and that to him is important.

  10. she won worlds best model in 97, don't think could be ugly.....

    :monkey:

    -axls a lucky bastard

    I think she's the lucky one!! :D

But do you know if they're dating or something??

If so, good for him. I really want him to be happy, to marry a good woman, to have children, but if she break his heart, I swear I'll kill her!!

    Watch out, Deniz.....Watch out!!! :anger:

Im totally with you on this one. Axl needs a woman who really understands him. And can be with him when times get tough for him. He needs a good woman and he said at one point in his life that he really wanted children. And yes that will make 2 of us out to get her, if hurts that mans heart!!

  11. :o !!!!!!!!!!!!!nO waaYYY!

    ...don't believe it.

At least not until theirs an announcement.

Everyone do themselves a favour and listen to the lady. Wait for an announcement, you'll only be dissapointed in the end... :)

I totally agree. Theres been rumors for 12 years now about this cd..When it happens we should all have a huge party!!

  12. Congradulations!! Ive been waiting for years to meet Axl.. ahhhhh one day.. But im happy for you dude.. that was really cool. Shame the media dont catch the good of Axl instead of all the other stuff.

  13. Well what to say about this concert it was quite simply mind-blowing, i was at Hammesmith and i thought that was great but it really wasn't a patch on Manchester, i mean it just had it all. To get to meet a cpl of u guys from the forum ruled aswell, Dory and Sofika i hope to see both of u again and Grimo it sucked that we didn't get to meet up as planned. Oh and Nadine cheers for the txt well iw as stood right behind ya hehe.

Starting with Jungle, Easy and Brownstone the pit was intense everyone surging forward and going nuts (me included) it was 100 times more intense then Hammersmith and was like it for the whole set, i was getting crushed but lets face it you just don't care when you are watching GUNS N' FUCKIN' ROSES.

Better was 1 of the best songs of the night and was the song that i went craziest for jumping up and down and singing my heart out, i seemed to be the only 1 to know the words of the people around me and at the end 1 guy asked me what song that was so i tild him and he was like that song is fucking amazing rock3 .

Best solo of the night has to go to Mr Richard Fortus it was simply electrifying, Ron although there was a fuck up when he was gonna start his Don't Cry solo when there was no sound on the guitar or the mic was brilliant and the crowd were singing along. Finck and Fortus's version of Beautiful was well beautiful and was well recieved.

I WAS KINDA TOLD OFF BY AXL TOO HAHA. When he said something like continuing with introductions i screamed out for Izzy and then got a chant going for Izzy with the people around me to which Axl replied don't spoil it :rofl-lol:, although had it not of been Izzy i think i would of got a kicking lol. Too see Izzy was simply amazing and i just can't describe what it felt like to actually be there to see him on stage with Axl

    :xmasssanta: .

The end of the show was brilliant IRS, My Michelle, Madagascar and Paradise City for the encore i mean you just can't beat that, so to put it simply it was the BEST CONCERT OF THE TOUR YET. rock3

    *EDIT*

Just to add the whole band were on top form everyone giving 100% and Axl welll the man is just out of this fucking world when he is on the stage.

wow what a great set list!!! rock2

  14. Thats why Axl will fail in the US. The funny thing is that all these people think it's great. Actions like that is a big FU to the fans, it's ok to make fans wait, but as soon as a beer hits the stage then boo hoo i'm not going to play unless u stop. Then to screw the fans from Paradise City! Mybe it works in second rate countries but good ol U.S will tell Axl to lick it's balls.

I didnt say it was ok to be late for a concert and make fans wait. all im saying it should be expected. Axl is never going to change on and off stage. Im just pissed cause the media always finds the bad in a person to write about.

Thanks for posting. I like how in the article a student said that Axl was to be on stage at 9:30, but he came around 10:15 and people were pissed off. Was that really that much of a suprise? <_<

it wouldnt surprise me. But maybe it was for the newer fans of his.

  15. I dont get it? I mean the man has to eat.. WTF..He cant even eat without the media up his ass. WTF.. as far as of being late. That is tradional GnR. People should expect that. Im sure the ones who have seen GnR years ago should know the band goes on late. Im not saying the lateness is a good thing or not. But should be expected. I wish the media would leave Axl alone!!! Doesnt the media ever review the concert itself? I never hear a review, I just hear about the bad that this man does and who knows whats the truth? Media twisted shit around all the time. :anger: We will never hear the truth.
