Saw the Arctic Monkeys on Friday night in Manchester - great gig - lots of older tunes. Got in the golden circle - didn't have to pay extra just first come first served!!
The Hives supported and they were great - very energetic - the singer whacked himself with the mic in the first song and had blood streaming down his face for the whole set!!

Saw Slash with Miles Kennedy a few time in Birmingham, Leeds and Doncaster UK
Duff with Loaded at Fibbers in York UK and with Walking Papers (got photo and autograph) at the Yardbirds Rock Club in Grimsby!
Steven Adler with Adlers Appetite at the Yardbirds Rock Club
Gilby Clarke at the Yardbirds Rock Club

None - saw them in London (night 1) last year and was a bit disappointed . I might have been tempted if they played further north - but can't be bothered to go down to London again, especially with the accommodation and travel costs on top!

Sadly, and I never thought I'd say this, but I have absolutely zero desire to go back to London to see them again - especially in another large/stadium type setting.
If they put a UK tour on the back of it and play some other venues, I could be tempted, but I'm not dropping about £1k for me and my partner to travel to London to see the same rehashed show. It would appear I'm done - and that makes me sad.
I'm the same - saw them at the Olympic stadium in 2017 and Tottenham this year - not traveling to London again - the hotel prices were expensive. If they came further north I might consider it, but only if there is new music!

The low voice civil war was really good, wish he'd done it that way last night!

I was stood near the sound desk, it sounded pretty clear to me. Axl was great on most songs, but did struggle with some of higher notes. Not too disappointed about the shorter set as they still played nearly 2.5 hours, and I've heard coma and YCBM before. Reckless Life was awesome though and I enjoyed hearing Absurd and Hardskool live!

Must be down to noise restrictions in the area?
That's what I thought. Seems very early though! Not like the 2006 - 2012 era!!! 😆

At the milton keynes show in 93, when the cult finished it was sweltering hot, by the time guns came on (2 and a half hours later) it was non stop torrential rain.
I was at the Saturday show - it really did piss it down - Axl sang a little bit of singing in the rain!

I'm sorry, but the whole YouTube thing is such a lame fucking argument. These fans act as if Axl's out of tune, out of time, painful vocals don't exist when you're actually there in person. They do, you're just too invested in having a good time to give an objective opinion about the quality of Axl's performance.
Yes - but it's the people who are at the shows who've paid their money - if they enjoy the show - what do you care?

Apologies for the delay man.
It was on last week, but it was all about the creation of Everything Must Go and the events surrounding it. It's available on demand, I highly recommend it!
No problem - Thanks - I'll see if I can get it on catch up.

I saw Walking Papers a couple of years ago in Grimsby - they were really good. I got to meet Duff and got him sign my Loaded T-shirt - he was really cool!
