  1. Saw the Arctic Monkeys on Friday night in Manchester - great gig - lots of older tunes.  Got in the golden circle - didn't have to pay extra just first come first served!!

The Hives supported and they were great - very energetic - the singer whacked himself with the mic in the first song and had blood streaming down his face for the whole set!! :o

Sadly, and I never thought I'd say this, but I have absolutely zero desire to go back to London to see them again - especially in another large/stadium type setting.

If they put a UK tour on the back of it and play some other venues, I could be tempted, but I'm not dropping about £1k for me and my partner to travel to London to see the same rehashed show. It would appear I'm done - and that makes me sad.

I'm the same - saw them at the Olympic stadium in 2017 and Tottenham this year - not traveling to London again - the hotel prices were expensive. If they came further north I might consider it, but only if there is new music!

  3. I was stood near the sound desk, it sounded pretty clear to me. Axl was great on most songs, but did struggle with some of higher notes. Not too disappointed about the shorter set as they still played nearly 2.5 hours, and I've heard coma and YCBM before. Reckless Life was awesome though and I enjoyed hearing Absurd and Hardskool live!

  4. Manchester Maine Road - 1992

Milton Keynes Bowl - 1993 1st night (with Izzy)

Sheffield Arena - 2006 (with Izzy)

    Birmingham Arena - 2010

    Nottingham Arena - 2012

    Olympic Stadium - 2017 1st night

Got tickets for Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next month too.

Also saw Slash with Miles 3 times, Duff with Loaded in York and Walking Papers at the Yardbirds in Grimsby (met him and he signed my Loaded shirt and I got a photo!), and Gilby and Alder both at the Yardbirds in Grimsby (separate gigs).

I'm sorry, but the whole YouTube thing is such a lame fucking argument. These fans act as if Axl's out of tune, out of time, painful vocals don't exist when you're actually there in person. They do, you're just too invested in having a good time to give an objective opinion about the quality of Axl's performance.

Yes - but it's the people who are at the shows who've paid their money - if they enjoy the show - what do you care?

    Apologies for the delay man.

It was on last week, but it was all about the creation of Everything Must Go and the events surrounding it. It's available on demand, I highly recommend it!

No problem - Thanks - I'll see if I can get it on catch up.
