there will be fuck all taxis because there never are. not the thousands that will be required anyway. you're much better off trying to sort out a nightbus. i dont think travelcards work on em tho. anyway tfl.gov.uk has a route planner. its much cheaper and you'd be supprised how few people get ass fucked and robbed on em.

I've checked with Wembley and they say the concert is due to finish at 11:00pm but I've heard that before.

I am going to be in London at the time of the Wembley gig so I thought, I may as well go.

My only concern is getting back after the gig. I need to get back to central London so was wondering if anyone knows whether they'll be a ton of cabs waiting to take us home.

I'm sorry but when 11,000 people have paid £40 to see him, never mind the costs incurred getting there, ending the gig early cause of that of is pathetic.

Well I saw the coin get thrown at Axl, I also saw him pick it up, see that it was a coin, and start muttering ''so we come here to do a show...'' through Nightrain and then walk off stage.

I wouldn't belive all I hear, but believe me, I saw it.

Fair enough, if you say you saw it I believe you.

But no harm was done and he made him point during Nightrain. It was one prick out of 10,999........no need to storm off at the end and ruin the show for the others. Not when he's got £40 of my hard earned cash.

It's like paying for a 3 course meal and not getting the dessert.

This is a review thread, I am giving my review.

I have been to well over a thousand gigs in my time and I have never seen anything like what happened last night. Also, are you syaing that it is okay to cut a set short JUST because it is Axl? Why do we go on treating him like a god, in that he can do anything he wants just becasue he is Axl?

I also have been to many gigs in my time. And this is the first I've ever left feeling short changed. Not because they were shit but because they were brilliant. As I have mentioned at one time I thought this was the best gig I've ever been to and that's saying something. But it was spoilt by Axl not giving the ending EVERYONE was waiting for. The ending is always what you remember most about a gig and this one sucked. No thanks, no bows, they just ran off stage and a voice from behind the decks said..."that's it....show's over goodnight". The crowd stood there stunned……in almost disbelief, one guy next to me thought it was part of the show. Then the light came on and the reality sunk it. It was such a downer.

And why? Because someone threw something?

I personally don’t believe he was hit by a coin as some have reported. If someone hit you with a coin in the face it’d hurt, and no one saw him flinch, this rumour is pure fantasy. I was sat right opposite the stage and I am not alone in seeing him holding something and looking at it then walking off stage. Something was thrown, yes but it was not a coin.

And if he was hit in the eye and blinded, I guess you wouldn't give a shit about that would you? Because that is rock n Roll! Wrong. Just as long as you get to see your precious Paradise City , that is all that matters huh? Fuck axl right? Its all about you you you.

Who saw him get hit with a coin? I saw no flinch, and I've yet to speak to anyone who 'actually' saw it.

And he did this tour for himself, he's a musician at the end of the day. This is what he does. We're the ones who should be thanked for coming out in numbers to support him.

I was sitting on the lower tier block 100, parallel to the security line / front of stage, perfect unobstructed view. I and my lass never saw anything hit him and he didn't react like "oww, what fucking hit me". He turned round, saw something at the front of the stage, picked it up and looked at it (god only knows what it was), said something I couldn't make out (I thought you were my friends?), ordered the band to stop and marched off.

I noticed that.......he had something in his right hand, looked at it then said stop...

It looked like a studded bracelet. Maybe that's what was thrown.

I was sat in the same Block and as you say nothing hit him, no reaction as you would if a coin hit you in a face? Someones just made that up.

Axl is in his mid 40's - he's not a kid anymore with a "dont give a fuck" attitude. If he chooses not to put up with this shit, then that's his choice. We all know from the past that he is, shall we say a little tempramental (sp?), so why antagonise him by throwing a coin. How the hell would you like it?? You say it only hit him in the leg - why would he continue - maybe so he can have the "pleasure" of getting hit in the face. You have to remember he also has a responsiblity to his fellow band members.

Axl has never put up with shit.

At the end of the day he went off stage and made his point. Leaving before the encore was just pure spite.

He should be thankful that he has such loyal fans that are willing to pay £40, and wait nearly four hours for him to show. Not stomping off stage because 'one' fan threw something and what no one knows.

At the end of the day this was a Rock concert, stuff gets thrown. I was at last nights gig and I saw maybe a couple of bottles at most land on stage. I've seen far far worse. Rumours are abound that a coin was thrown but I didn't see it. But EVEN if one had been thrown, no harm was done. Axel stopped the performance and made his point. END OF.

But no not for Axel.......just out of pure spite he had to rob us of the ending we deserved.

Bottles AND coins were thrown - people have seen both. No wonder Axl fucked off home early. There is a point were amusement and fun cross the line to being stupid and dangerous. Bottles and coins are over that line.

What people? I was there at the front...... a couple of bottle were thrown at most. Never saw ANY coins being thrown. Don't believe all what you hear.

I totally agree with Deicide. I've heard the 'supposed' coin ( I don't care what anyone says, no one saw it), hit him in the leg.

I was so enjoying the gig up until that point. At one stage I found myself saying, "this is the best gig I've been to". And I've even seen the original line up play.........Axel was on top form. I even forgave the ropey lyrics on 'Out Ta Get Me' and 'Think About You'. But to stomp off like that is no way to treat your fans. That action ruined what was a brilliant gig for me.
