  1. Hi and welcome just a tiny bit of advice, listen to Chinese Democracy first so you get it out of the way and then you can enjoy great songs such as Civil War, Coma, The Garden etc etc

  2. I'm not a huge U2 or Bono fan but Joshua Tree is as good as AFD in it's own right. In this current time you'd have to go with Bono because they can sell out huge arenas/stadiums where as GN'R are playing to around 20,000 people at some gigs albeit that's no small amount but you could never see GN'R selling out a stadium tour well not in the U.K not now anyway. Maybe if Axl got his old chums together again then he might be seen as the more successful/popular artist of the two.

  3. To me this album is the greatest instrumental album to have ever been made. Not only does it have the classic songs such as SWTA and SB but it also has the awesome Lords Of Karma which is my personal favourite. What do you guys think of the album and do you the think it's Satrianis best work?

  4. Guitar Hero boss wants retail to stop selling rival products

September 18, 2009 by The News Team Filed Under: DS, Wii

"One thing I do say to retailers is that they should stop selling those rival products which don’t sell through, and instead focus on the products that are selling through and generate retail value and return on investment. I’m not here to talk about the competition, but one of our competitors we outsell nine to one, eight to one or seven to one depending on the week. The last GfK research showed that we have a 50 per cent market share of the music category – which includes Rock Band, Wii Music, SingStar and every other music game." - Michael Sportouch, Senior Director of Guitar Hero

    Fuck Guitar Hero bosses :fuckyou:

  5. Not twitter but;

Courtney Love, Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee, Rob Zombie and Led Zeppelin drummer Jason Bonham are among the many musicians who will join Velvet Revolver/Guns ‘N’ Roses guitarist Slash for his all-star concert in Las Vegas on October 2. The concert, billed Slash & Friends, celebrates the 20th anniversary of Las Vegas hotel, casino and white tiger playground the Mirage. Other guests include Velvet Revolver buddy Matt Sorum, Rick Neilsen of Cheap Trick, Rocco Deluca of the Burden and Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger.

Joe Perry's like a rose in a thorn bush mixed in with that lot

  6. Glad you liked it. It definitely is a great film. I've sat through it three times and haven't gotten bored of it once.

Sadly i've only seen it twice so far as well as seeing Inglourious Basterds twice, i'm alternating both films as both are bloody brilliant.

  7. Saw him live in '78 and it was bloody cool...saw him 30 years later and the show was just as smooth.

I envy you zint, wise in age and the amount of people you must of seen live just amazes me. I agree LB those songs are fantastic, mainstreet is my personal fave :)

  8. I'm a huge admirer of Bob and his fellow band members and was wondering if anyone else in here is a fan. His voice is absolutely fantastic and should always be up there with the best of them when they release these top 100 polls. The Silver Bullet Band are awesome and they realy complement Bob's voice and vice a versa.

  9. Foo Fighters: Low

    Tenacious D: Wonderboy

Queens Of The Stone Age: Go With The Flow

    The White Stripes: Blue Orchid

    The Raconteurs: Level

Kings Of Leon: Red Morning Light (if The Raconteurs and White Stripes are considered hard rock then so are the Kings)

    Muse: Knights Of Cydonia
