What they played of 'Check Mate' sounded like Axl to me. The music didn't sound like anything we've heard yet, but hey, neither did CITR! It sounded like Axl. I'll buy in until proven wrong.

Maybe someone messed with the tracks, but the vocals are different in my opinion.

IRS was slower and had more of a loose guitar sound. Less layering.

TWAT sounds very stripped down as well. It's slower. The vocals sound very clean. Like '02 Axl. Edits are raw... you can hear the dub of a new vocal between verse lines.

No way AXL would never pick them. Im pretty sure it was the management or the label i guess, since i heard that BFMV are under the same label or something.

Fuck, the reason i hate those type of people is beause of the dudes i associate with and live with. 1st of all i play in this band and everyone in that band is mostly punk and heavy metal types of dudes like headbangers and they hate everything which is popular or mainstream, since they sellout to make money and dont give a shit about music. Its simple, emos r not allowed at our shows and no one likes them. Besides rock n' roll is all about being toughass, like get the fuck outta my way type and emos just pussy.

And besides theose emo fags suck, i mean look at the way they dress, look at the music they listen to, whats not to hate? And trust its not just me who hates them, everyone i know hates them at my high school; theyre rejected by the punks, rock n' roll dudes and the headbangers, so fuck them, no one likes them.

If these are B-sides, these are the strongest B-sides since Oasis and the Killers in that they are better than most bands' album cuts...

Keep in mind that Brain scratches and dj's so it's more than likely that CD will contain samples of beats, etc along side real drums. IRS obviously is a combination of sampled/drum machines and real drums. Who knows what the final tracks will have..?

And it's a 3-4 year old demo. That's not promotion for a new record.

The reason (probably one of many, but) for Merck's request to have the files removed is not the be an ass, but to keep these things away from people who would think that this is the finished product. Looking at the seeds isn't going to sell you the bloomed flower. We understand that these are incomplete demos, but many would assume that this is as good as it gets. It's management's (difficult) job to prevent those opinions from affecting proper positive promotion. Whether the album is about to come out or not it's management's duty to protect the interests of it's client (in this case GN'R).

Calling GN'R's management names and hurling insults is juvenile and ignorant. You have no idea why they are doing what they are doing. Perhaps I don't either, but at the very least, please stop the insults.
