What do you guys think about this band? I've known about them for quite a while now but I just started really listening to them a lot recently. They're really good.

That's cool that they'll be playing in Chicago. I saw them at Ozzfest '02 and like someone else mentioned here Phil was completely trashed. It was awful. But I love their CDs... so I don't know. Maybe if they have a decent opening band I'll consider it.

They're awesome. I heard the song "Swing Low" and love it. I'll probably be picking up their CD in a few days. Does anyone else listen?

November 2002 I saw them at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL.

If they come back to Chicago during the summer I'd like to see them go to Tinley Park and have it outside. That would be sweet.

It would kick ass to see them headline Ozzfest next summer.

I'm from Chicago and got the chance to see them in '02 but couldn't make it to last night's show because I didn't have a ride. Have they said anything about touring again in the US during the summer next year?

Was the show better than the one at the allstate in 2002? I went to that one but couldn't make it to last night's show. I really enjoyed seeing them in '02. Was this show better, worse or the same?

Maybe the difference was in 2002 Axl was finally back after how long? People were interested in seeing them and hoped the CD would come out. Then they take ANOTHER break and come back in 2006 and still no CD. The hype isn't there this time like it was in 2002. In 2002 they showed up out of nowhere and played at the MTV music awards and then go on tour and cancel it halfway through. I do have to say though that besides Buckethead not being there this version of GNR is WAY better than the one in 2002. Axl's voice sounds almost as good as it did in the 80's/90's.

I saw them at the Allstate Arena in November 2002 and they put on an amazing show! Axl sounded great and Buckethead was awesome on guitar. I hope they come back here because I'd really like to see them again.
