The stuff on either side of the AFD cross is the monikers of the artists who created this. I got a kick out of the GNR related decorations incorporated in each of those. If you look closely at the one on the far left, you can see a backstage pass with the current GNR signage on it.

Well, there's been graffiti featured in GNR album art work more than once before. A lot of the UYI era art work was actually created by a famous graffiti artist, including the bass drum skin during the entire tour. Axl's pretty open minded when it comes to visual art. I'd be interested in his opinion. There's definitely lots of parallels between that movement and the beginnings of the rock n roll movement.

Came across this n thought it was pretty cool. Im a fan of graffiti art and GNR so this made me happy. Looks like they are more into the old stuff, but for what its worth, I hope some people here can appreciate this. Sorry couldn't figure out how to post the pics directly in this thread. Enjoy!

Seems like we hear about a lot of lawsuits, but never hear what the outcomes are. For instance, whatever happened to the thing with Activision using AFD material unlawfully? What about the piece of fine art that Axl was getting sued over? And the German techno artist that claimed GNR sampled his music for the intro to Rhiad? I'm sure there's more, just can't remember all of them at the moment. Does anyone know what ever happened with any of these or others?
