  1. I have been really hard on Merck, but he actually comes off as the good guy in this situation. He could have used a letter to slam Axl, poke fun at Axls hair, call the record a steaming pile of shit, and everything inbetween, but took the high road. I applaud him for that.

  2. There are several reasons to be happy...

    1. we actually got a semi-explaination of things.

    2. Merck is gone

    3. For the first time ever, we have been given a tentative date... I'll take it, eventhough I'm still not holding my breath.

    4. Merck is gone.

  3. If the album comes out this year, I will record a video of me eating the fucking thing, while listening to it. Yes, plastic case, disc, booklet... if it comes with any extras I'll eat them too.

Thats how confident I am that there is no hope.

  4. BTW, those saying "HOW PISSED IS RON"... Ron knows the date, he told me this personally. Outside of MSG I simply asked him "I don't need to know, but do you even know when the record is coming out" and he said "Yes, but I am morally obligated not to tell you"... so Ron is in the same boat as Baz.

  5. If Tommy really sent that e-mail, he is the piece of shit... not the sender. He can try to handle himself with some class and dignity. He has been one of the biggest whiners and crybabies in this band. So what, you got piss chucked at you, because you're not Duff McKagan, and never will be. Deal with it. He is one of the most replacable members of this band. His bass sound is generic, his backup vocals stink... what has he provided to this band? Zilch. He has always come off as a dick.

If you don't want questions about the album, don't post your fucking email, or myspace, or any form of contact publically on the internet... its practically begging for it.

Guys like Ron and Richard have handled it with class, and this douche responds like a big faggy baby.

Fuck you Tommy... No one cares about your sorry ass.

  6. Its a great show, but next time I want to go see them, I'm going to be more cautious. I bought tickets to Continental and MSG, and the shows were nearly identical... I expected something a little different, but the only difference was that they played Rocket Queen at NJ, and not in NYC. Its worth seeing once, but after that, save your money because you're paying to see the same thing twice.
