Compared to the Beastie Boys, Run DMC, NWA, Snoop Dogg, and Public Enemy, this rap SUCKS!!!! Dont get me wrong, there would be one or two artist that are pretty good now, (T.I., Chamillionare... LiL Wayne is definately not one of them ) but its totally a shadow of what rap used to be.

An inquest in Maidstone has heard that Hannah Bond, a 13 year-old girl from Kent, committed suicide by hanging herself - and emo music has been blamed.

Roger Sykes, the coroner who gave the verdict of suicide yesterday (May 7), suggested that the fact that Bond was an obsessive fan of such music was linked to her death.

The inquest heard that Bond had discussed with friends the "glamour" of suicide, and was obsessed with American band My Chemical Romance (pictured). She had a picture of an emo girl with bloody wrists on her Bebo page.

Bond's father Ray explained that his daughter had had an episode of self-harm prior to her suicide, which she told him was an emo initiation ceremony.

Her mother Heather Bond, also provided some background on her interest in the genre explaining: "There are [emo] websites that show pink teddies hanging themselves. She called emo a fashion and I thought it was normal. Hannah was a normal girl. She had loads of friends. She could be a bit moody but I thought it was just because she was a teenager."

However as he gave the verdict of suicide, coroner Sykes criticised the genre saying: "The emo overtones concerning death and associating it with glamour I find very disturbing."

If you're stupid enough to kill yourself over music than the world is better off without you. My Chemical Romance probably helped to save lives in the long run.

Most of you who talk shit on the genre have never listen to any of genre's significant artist, such as Sunny Day Real Estate, Pedro the Lion, COHEED AND CAMBRIA etc.

I actually cut out a newspaper clipping of him today from yesterdays new york post. They were talking about great songs that ended in 2:42. They mentioned "Dont Do Me Like That.", along with songs from the beatles, etc. Tom Petty rocks though, great singer and guitar player.....

We all know that in the last page in Live Era Axl dedicated the album to Shannon Hoon, West Arkeen, and others, but has Axl ever said anyhting about his passing? Would anyone know if there was an interview about it.

New York is sick, but i mean the Down Town-Manhattan part (MSG,The Fillmore, BB Kings....), but the Bronx has like one spot that I know of, and its all full of EMO bands that try to be like Fall Out Boy.

Theyre earlier albums, like most bands were best, This Darkened Heart was great.

I saw them live in N.Y at the fillmore when they were promoting there album. They were okay but Dee is an asshole. After the show my cousins and I wait for the bands to come out of the building. I didnt care for TS, but I really wanted to see Joey Belladona, from Anthrax. He was a cool guy and we talked for a while. Then when the TS came out, theyre was at least 7 people out and he refused to sign anyhting and went into his H2. I did get my vinyl "Were not gonna take it " single signed by the guitarist with the black hair. He was the biggest dick because I tried to talk to him and he blew smoke in my face.
