    Universal may be preventing the release of CD...

    This is a little like my thread that got deleted where I suggested that maybe Axl couldnt announce a definate release date as maybe he didnt actually know for sure, especially if its been handed over to Universal. I got slated for that but oh well!

    When I went to see them I was right up near the front. When Axl was running down the steps onstage his trousers rode up his leg a little and exposed his socks (on his right leg I think it was) and Im sure he was wearing Simpsons socks. Has he ever discussed 'The Simpsons' and is he a fan?

    Im quite content and happy, its a fucking question on how fans, especially younger fans are percieved you fucking knob! A lot of them get shit.. when I was younger GnR fans were everywhere but that isnt the case anymore.

    For me I have no chioice I love the music and sometimes yeah its a pain in the ass being a GnR fan.

    My question is really raised because at one time GnR were the most popular and cool rock band in the world and alot of fans became GnR fans simply because of the trend and the coolness associated with the hellraisers know as GnR. Some fans like me still see them as a great band and can safely say 'no man.. it wasnt coz they were cool.. its because the music was the messenger'.

    Its now become evident that some goofy asswipes working for these music megastores can make a fan feel like a dickhead with just a few words and a slight shooray for tolerance! 'no..its not out..are they even still together... ha ha ha!' These knobsticles are the same type of person that 20 15 years ago would of been queueing to get UYI!

    Man Id like to take a sledgehammer to some of these hip hop raptard loving motherfuckers!

    i get slated at school for liking gnr,me and three other guys are the only die hard fans, they like indi and 90% of our school is run by chavs,

    i still fight and when ever i get people in headlocks i make them say GNR rule then they admit it so i let them go

    Axl dude..

    Please give these crazy guys a message will you. They want to know whats going on with the album. Obviously no news is no news but most of us have been waiting 15 years for some new material and have been to the gigs this summer and autumn. If its not coming this year then cool, if its still coming this year then cool...Just confirm either way man because all we get day in day out is stupid ass theorys that dont add up to shit.

    I know you dont like the messageboards but alot of these kids have grown up using it and its the only way for GnR fans (your fans!) around the globe to come together and talk about their favorite pass time.

    Amazing how in September we all thought that CHinese D would be out today...well, fast forward to today and this GNR fan walked into FYE at 8:30am fingers crossed that Axl would deliver and all of my provocations were unnecessary...but what did I see? I saw 20 people with red albums in there hands waiting on line, turns out it was Jay-Z's new album...I asked the manager if Guns N Roses' new album was coming out anytime soon and he said he had nothing on that album, and even laughed at me saying, "Is Guns N Roses even still together?"

    How the fuck can the GNR camp expect to operate like this? I mean shit, all of us, all of us fucking fans were fucking brand ambassadors telling everyone we knew that 2006 was the year, we even told people sometime in November, probably the 28th...now we all look like fucking losers! How come Jay-Z fans have known for months that their man would deliver the goods on November 21, but Axl and GNR fans are completely in the black...it's fucking bullshit. And it's not even like we know the FUCKING YEAR it will come out! Fuck month, fuck day, we don't even know FUCKING WHAT YEAR it's dropping!

    Pissed off I decided to just buy the Jay-Z album and support an artist that actually knows how to promote and deliver music to his fans. It's not a bad album, no GNR, but shit, Axl gives us no other option but to loathe him. Every Tuesday between now and 2006 I would like us all to raise a middle finger to Axl, that's right, FUCK YOU AXL, 2006 is the year? Sure, whatever you say, liar.

    Dude.. to be fair..

    Axl didnt say it would be out on the 21st. However I do understand your frustrations on us not being able to get a straight answer on IF and WHEN the album will be released. It is a poor way to treat the fans and most artist appreciate the fans obviously a little more than Axl cares about his.. but he cant live your life for you and he doesnt owe you anything. We just gotta get on with life and if it comes out it comes out. People need to learn to stop idolising someone who doesnt really give a shit wether we buy the album or go to the gigs, it doesnt matter to him, if we dont do it someone else will, hes just living his own life..always has always will. Thats the way it is man.

    Monday is the day albums get released over here and theres no CD.. so.. well who knows.. I wasnt really expecting it today anyway.. maybe itll get released on the same day as the US.

    Could really do with a single though... dum di . dum.. :xmasssanta:
