  1. Yes you've got to stop and think of when the song was written, I've read a few post where people think it's pathetic sad and whatnot that he's still writing about her. You write it down when you feel it but 10 years later or whatever the feeling's are dead but you've still got the song/poem/story or whatever. Think about WTTJ SCOM and so on same thing still singing them but far removed are the emotions that brought the songs about.

  2. I didn't say he was or wasn't cool I said the "look", I'm a skin head myself and have no problem with it. As to weather he's cool or not I don't care, he can play and that's what I do care about.

  3. If it comes out this year I'll buy it if it doesn't I'll wait till it does then I'll buy it (this is where the die hard fan part comes in), and as for no promotion airn't we giving enough here and on other web sites? Why pay for promotion when you get it free on the web? Same thing with the tour I haven't seen any promotion for it other then the web but there selling tickets. So like I tell my kids "we'll be there when we get there"

  4. Hey the beards a lot cooler "rock n roll" G N' R then back in '02 when he still had the NIN look (although I love NIN), and as for the dress thing Axl had a kilt (sorry if I misspelt it) on for a better part of the early 90s and I never heard anyone say anything about that. So point being the beard and look is good for the image and I can stand to look at him when he plays now.

  5. 7 hours dude that's a haul, but should be well worth it saw them in 2002 and it was a great show. Going to see them in NJ on the 5th then I'll be at the Mass show too but it's like only two hours from here. Ofcourse I've never been there and hope theres a bar or three like right next door to kill time. Down in NJ there was just the parking lot (saw Iron Maiden there a few weeks ago).

  6. Hey man I'll be there gonna have a good ol' time (in my best redneck voice), got upper ticks not too happy with myself about that oh well. But made up for it by getting a floor tick for the Mass show on the 8th. Should have a tunk full of Coronas too.

  7. You could be right, I don't remember a lot of promotion for Lies. I think also that UYI release date wasn't announced too long before the album came out. Not to be a neg ninnie but back in 2002 it was going to be released before the end of the year then it was going to be before summer of 2003 and it never happened and this may very well be another one where it'll never happen. Hope that's not the case here but looking at the past it may very well be- I would like very much to be proven wrong.

  8. Yeah most of ya got it right. Who care's what the set list is old songs are good 'cause you know the words but all in all your at the show with a shit load of other people that are just as f*cked up as you and listening to your fav band. I saw them in 2002 in Albany NY and am going to NJ and Mass to see them and if Maine wasn't so far away I'd go there too, and no matter what they play I'm gona have a good time. And all those people who think they come on too late hey man it's a party if ya can't get out of work the next day or don't want to be draging your ass don't go. If I go in at 8ish and don't get out 'till 2ish it was money well spent to me (sorry from a diff post), getting off track anyway quityourbitchin' get your ass up go to the show and have a good time rock3
