  1. Hi,

Final requests: first if someone can check on the acuracy of the set list (regarding the new material), it will be appreciated and second, the drummer, Frank Ferrer... does he have a puertorrican heritatge? At the end of the concert, he was telling the crowd (with his body language) that he was from here (Puerto Rico) and inmediately he got on his knees and kiss the stage two times.

If you have the oportunity to see this concert in your area, don' t hesitate to do it. You won't regret it.l Thanks for reading and sorry for any writing mistakes.

I dunno if you will ever get to read this message but that drummer for GnR that night in PR also played with Robi Rosa on the Madre Tierra tour.

  2. Personally I think Axl should, at the end of this tour, say, "ok now you've played the old GnR songs at nauseum, you are now closer to being GnR than ever before, we go back into the studio and rerecord every track and slap in 2-3 more we thought of during the tour and release it."

  3. I thought about that, and I came up with an idea. Your in a concert, you have so much video space to record stuff, why not the new songs? Becuase people are not going off to the songs, they don't know the songs, why record them. Nobody here is recording the new songs because they don't identify with them. There are very few diehard fans to that extent that will suffer until getting new material now because this is a totally new band. Gone is Slash and that is huge. No new solos from him to look forward too. That said this new band certainly has the potential to put out a great album. I am sure the people in PR were not thinking of "oh new song" record it and paste on youtube.com. Then again, maybe they do have it recorded and are not aware of the demand for such rare footage.

Another awsome, awsome moment at the concert in Puerto Rico, link to Knocking on Heaven's Door with crowd panorama:

  4. Live music certainly has hit rock bottom with all the pop/rap crap out now. Sad... hard to be optimistic and easy to be a pessimist. Not enough bands to pick up where others left off. The talent level has nose dived in my opinion... That said this GnR tour is a great show and those who are missing it are missing one of the best frontmen of all time. It doesn't matter this is almost a glorified cover band, they ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :xmassrudolph:

  5. Best video from the show in Puerto Rico has to be typed in correctly to see. Go to youtube.com and type in the search bar Guns and Roses in PR and then click on the icon with the whole stage glowing. Amazing footage shot from the thrid tier of seats in the new indoor stadium in San Juan. Best footage I've seen for GnR on this tour yet. :anger: rock1

I have been trying to get an official figure of how many people were in the stadium for the PR show. I think it was anywhere between 12-13k. Anyone got an official number?

  6. Want to ask those of you who flew into Puerto Rico to see the concert just how you all liked it. This was unfortunately my first GnR concert because, well, they never did come to PR beforehand. I have seen many many concerts before from everything from Metallica in their prime, Chilli Peppers, Primus, Tool, KoRn, Pantera, but GnR eluded me. What did you all think of the show, the band, the island, and the crowd? rock1
