  1. heading down to this, i was at the belfast show 2 years ago and their performance was phenomenal. bit disappointed they didn't come back to belfast especially when they went down so well!! but fingers crossed this time in dublin it doesn't go tits up

  2. it makes me want to dance which is a feat in itself. i really like it, she annoys my shite, but it's a feel good song and i cant help but sing along.

ive said from the start about the similarities to madonna, and i dont find her that original overall, but she is a good performer and i enjoy her music. not a bad song, i will definitely vogue to this. :D

  3. discuss.

i prefer when ryan mccombs was vocalist, he's up there as one of my favourite vocalists alongside layne staley and axl of course. i know it was the most commercially successful of all their albums, but "scars" is one of my favourite albums ever.

  4. om nom nom, just after dinner. made cheesy stuffed peppers with salad. pure foodgasm.

finely diced onions and mushrooms in a pan with olive oil and garlic. add some couscous (now i cheated and used the one out of marks and spencers with roasted vegetables and lemon dressing lol) and then added some cheddar (i had no mozzarella) and cream cheese, then grilled them and added cheese on top to melt. had with a mixed leaf salad. NOM! fit to burst lol.

  5. Good find Conor. I didn't take my camera because I couldn't be bothered walking back to the hotel with it if I hadn't been able to take it in. I really wish I'd just have tried to take it in as I was in a great spot to get some cracking photos. What's the deal with taking a camera in with you these days? Would you be turned away?

i don't think so. i had my camera in my bag, it got searched and nothing was said about it. however, it was the security when we got into the arena that told us there was to be no photography but it wasn't their decision. their words were "look we couldn't care less if you take photos. we were ordered not to let you". for about the first half of the show, anyone they seen taking photos or recording they stopped them (the few rows they could get at anyway) but after they just gave up. i chanced taking one and nothing was said so i carried on.

  6. There's a GNR UK Tour 2010 one. That's all I can remember. It had a Union Jack on the back, with "I was there" and the dates.

I presume they didn't sell many of them in Ireland....

I think we all agreed that was the most cringeworthy one on sale at Reading

ach feck aff that's the one i bought. in all honesty, axl rose is the only man that could ever make me put on a union jack voluntarily. it's the one i liked the best, and i wear it very proudly. i love letting people know "I WAS THERE" wish they sold the one with the irish flag on the back in belfast... it's in ireland! lol

  7. Axl gets a lot of shit online but I find him to represent something that I still hold dear: That being the freedom to live life completely on your own terms, with your own set of rules. There's just not a lot of outlaws left these days in music or entertainment.

    i love this ^_^

  8. aw i wish i could relive it again and again. i started queueing around half 3, and even though i was dying for the toilet when they came on, there was no way i was leaving. i was so grateful when they were handing out water at the front as well. lol. i was dehydrated when i got out of it. but i wouldn't change anything. words cannot describe how happy i am that it was such a good show and that we got axl on a good night. he is unrivalled as the best frontman of all time imo.

i keep looking at my photos and still can't get over how close i was to him. awesome. :-D

  9. i agree with the negative reviews, it isn't fair on the fans, and after being at the front for the belfast show and seeing axl get hit on the face and the head and then carrying on (despite my intense apprehension just waiting for him to storm off) i was so grateful. i just wonder how some nights he can work through it and others he can't. but the irish news channels really pissed me off when they compared it justin bieber and said axl should take a leaf out of his book. like wtf?

  10. best. night. of. my. life.

i was right at the front. i couldn't believe it when axl was literally 2 metres away from me. the show blew my mind and far exceeded any expectations i had. i doubt any show could top it. an amazing performance. only thing i would say is that sometimes i felt axl's microphone was quite low so you couldn't really hear him at times, but apart from that flawless. i'm still buzzing from it :-D

  11. lovin the hate just cos its cool.

btw taylor swift sucks. gaga is more popular in the uk and the rest of the world than the us. taylor swift is more popular in the us than in the uk or the rest of the world.

  12. she is amazin. fresh and new. can u think of anyone recently who has had as much instant success? she's leavin everyone behind her in her wake. marilyn manson relies more on shock tactics than actual musical talent. at least gaga can write, sing and play all her own songs. seriously, catch yourself on. admit you like her.
