  1. The FCC controls language (and images in the case of television) during certain hours on broadcast television and terrestrial radio.

They have nothing to do with the sale of recorded music.

Furthermore, the "Parental Advisory" warning is a voluntary program created by the music industry.

With that said, why is it that you feel Chinese Democracy is deserving of that designation?

Very good info did not know that!

I know that you can't trust wikipedia but what the hell is TBA in 2012 ??

    Discography

Main article: Guns N' Roses discography

    Appetite for Destruction (1987)

    G N' R Lies (1988)

    Use Your Illusion I (1991)

    Use Your Illusion II (1991)

    "The Spaghetti Incident?" (1993)

    Chinese Democracy (2008)

    TBA (2012)

    Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guns_N%27_Roses#Discography

Nothing of substance unless it has a citation, even then you should question it.

Yeah.. I got it. But why presumable album called TBA?

Anybody can register a S/N and add to/alter whackedpedia

  3. ever notice or ever wonder why there are so many "technical issues" whenever GnR tours that consistently force them to take the stage 2-3 hours after show time?

I have wondered that myself..it happens alot and at a variety of venues!

  4. Why post this here? Why give this unknown idiot any time of day?

Just wanted everyone to see what he was doing

Post his email so we can spam the shit out of it.....

    lmao this is his email..seriously

  5. I came across another article by this guy tim butters, all he does is bash axl and I believe he has dedicated his life to this. I posted this so everyone can read what kind of gutter like material this guy keeps flowing from his cum trap. I don't agree with the late starts of the show but that's how axl has been forever, so we shouldn't be surprised when it happens. Furthermore I understand that 3 hours is a freaking long time to be waiting, but its not like it hasn't happened before! Do I wish Axl would be on time hell yeah, but I also realize that the possibility of that happening is zero! This guy is all negative, nothing ever positive comes from him in regards to axl. He must of had a bad experience in school or something to have this much hate built up for someone! There is a lot of things that I don't understand about axl's direction of this band but at the end of the day I am just a fan and have no idea what goes on behind the scenes in the GN'R CAMP, I am like everyone else, a fan who wants new music and more info! Sorry for my rant!

Axl Rose is Showered in Sh*t!

    October 25, 2011 07:25 AM EDT

It seems a crowd of hysterical and over enthusiastic Axl Rose fans have angered their portly ginger hero after his wobbling and warbling was cut short by a volley of malicious missiles.

The Guns N' Roses front-man was busy writhing and screaming his way through the opening verses of the torturous 'Chinese Democracy' and doing his peculiar worm wriggle when the incident occurred.

Only 60 minutes into last Sunday's concert at Mexico's Arena Monterey, the angry red-head brought the show to a grinding, and some critics would comment unfairly, blessed halt, because some audacious scum in the crowd dared to throw a few innocent objects onstage.

Confused Axlites may well ask, why would any loyal, loving and self-respecting Axl Rose fan dare to invade their multi-millionaire master's personal space and taint the sacred shrine of the rock stage with their vile offerings.

Well, it could be something to do with the fact that old Rosy and his gang didn't take to the stage until three hours after the scheduled time.

Apparently Axl Rose, or Mr. Punctuality as he is often known in more refined circles, was not to blame for this delay, instead it was the "technical issues" of the show's organizers.

Obviously certain fans wanted to vent their frustration at someone and as usual poor old Axl gets it in the neck. Typical.

A righteous Rose, seething in saintly indignation, doesn't waste any time in dealing with the unruly mob and after stopping the band in full flow he addresses the crowd like a benevolent dictator and warns that Guns N' Roses will pack right up and leave if the culprits continue "throwing sh*t",

A curious Axl then asks, "Is that what you wanna do - throw sh*t? We would like to have fun. You wanna have a good time?"

Realising that the crowd probably do, Axl tells his band-mates to skip 'Chinese Democracy' as they launch straight into 'Welcome to the Jungle'.

A tell-tell-tale sign if any is needed, that even Axl knows the new Guns N' Roses material just don't cut the mustard and satisfy the punters like the big old riffs and bombastic beats Slash and the guys used to deliver.

  6. The Denver Post

    Posted: 10/24/2011 10:49:24 AM MDT

You’ve heard the rumors — that Axl Rose is coming to Denver the same month as Santa Claus.

We just got the confirmation. You will be welcomed to the jungle this December.

Guns N’ Roses will play the 1stBank Center in Broomfield on Dec. 11, according to the venue’s website. Tickets, $49.50-$79.50, go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. via tickethorse.com.

The legendary, if unsteady, band hasn’t been known for its togetherness in the last couple decades. It took Rose nearly 20 years to release the proper follow-up to the two “Use Your Illusions” — 2008′s “Chinese Democracy,” the “Smile” of modern pop-metal. Check out the band’s proper website, and the Denver date isn’t even listed — and the most recent “news” note on there is the addition of a “new” guitarist in March of 2009.

Still, we’re already looking forward to the show — to seeing Axl circa 2011, nearly 25 years after he first completely owned us via 1987′s still-excellent “Appetite For Destruction.”

  7. GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose halted a live concert Sunday night (October 23) at Arena Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico after objects were thrown on stage during the group's performance. One minute into the concert's opening number, "Chinese Democracy", Rose stopped his band and warned the crowd that he would pack up and leave if they continued "throw[ing] shit."

"Is that what you wanna do?" Axl asked the audience. "'Cause we will go home. Is that what you wanna do — throw shit? We would like to have fun. You wanna have a good time?" He then told his bandmates, "Alright, let's just skip that song," before launching into "Welcome To The Jungle".

According to SDPNoticias.com, the city of Monterrey, Mexico imposed a fine of $870 (approximately 200 times the minimum wage) on the organizers of GUNS N' ROSES' concert at Arena Monterrey after the show was delayed by more than three hours. The band's late start was blamed by the organizers on "technical issues" and not directly on Rose — who is notorious for his late arrivals onstage.

GUNS N' ROSES earlier in the monthreleased a statement regarding reports that the band was two hours late for its performance at Rock In Rio in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil on October 2. The statement read, "GUNS N' ROSES would like to set the record straight on Rock In Rio. The festival's inadequate production and the downpour of rain delayed the event. Anyone who was there knows that SYSTEM OF A DOWN did not leave the stage until close to 1:15 in the morning. System's extensive stage production did not finish coming offstage until 1:45 a.m."

The statement added, "GN'R's production was up and ready to go at 2:15 a.m. Axl [Rose] got to the venue before 1 a.m. and he came ready to go onstage. The inadequate cover of the Rock In Rio stage caused a further delay when the soundboard went down due to water damage and was replaced as quick as possible. GN'R walked onstage at 2:40 a.m. and played for two-and-a-half hours in the pouring rain. GN'R would never seek to intentionally disrespect anyone, especially their fans."

GUNS N' ROSES issued its statement a day after an organizer for Rock In Rio said that Rose's behavior exhibited "lack of commitment" and "respect for the public."

Promoters have lately been unwilling to put up with the band's habitual lateness. Organizers of the 2010 Reading festival pulled the plug on GUNS' set after they arrived onstage more than an hour late and went past the curfew.

According to The Pulse Of Radio, the group was fined $108,000 at an October 2010 show in London after the band went over the 11:00 p.m. curfew. Audience members were so irate at the band's late arrival that they threw things at Rose.

Promoters in the U.S. will get their own chance to clash with Axl Rose and his band when GUNS N' ROSES kicks off their first American tour in five years on October 28 in Orlando, Florida.

Fan-filmed video footage of the above-mentioned incident can be seen below.

  8. No, it'S not a festival.

People are still waiting for GnR. Almost 2 am there!

WOOH! Slow down it is only 11:53pm Saturday local time...

Anyways I cannot update tonight so have a great time everyone :)

Yeah...my bad. I screwed up. It is an hour less there. Instead of 1 hour after me. ;)

    Changed it

I will update, I am waiting for the Rugby world cup finals. GO FRANCE GO!!!!

is it going to be streamed? does anyone know for sure?

  9. Turns out pretty much EVERYONE(promoters, label, agents, lawyers, old band members, managers) except Axl want a reunion as it would equal BIG DOLLARS and will do everything they can to make things hard for the new band. Very similar to what happened during the release of Chidem with Azoff. Could also be why Axl described 2008/09 as the worst year of his life to the crowd in Osaka 2009. All is not as it seems... Hopefully this will give a bit of understanding as to why we don't have new material yet.

There are those that unless they got a piece of the pie, unless they got a piece of your ass, unless they got a piece of your life, they just don't want it to happen.

YOU DO IT THEIR WAY OR YOU DON'T DO IT.

    1.45 to 2.05

I think that is what he's on about here.

    I love that video

  10. Obviously Axl has finally say in the setlist, but I'm sure the rest of the guys have a heavy influence on what's played.

I would like to think so but I think axl has more say so than the rest of the band

Of course I don't know for sure, but I think Bumble had something to do with Estranged.

He definately had something to do with Don't Cry.

He probably had been pushing for a while for those two songs to change the setlist up, I agree with you on those two hopefully the band is pushing for other songs as well!

  11. There was a GN'R survivor on Maidenfans, and Coma scored really poorly. It was named the worst of the epics. I couldn't believe my eyes.

It's certainly top five least favorite tracks on the UYI albums, probably top three least favorites. I just can't get into it. I never hear anything about Locomotive, which confuses me. Easily one of the best songs the originals wrote.

Coma is my favorite Guns song, so my jaw was on the floor. I usually don't adore popular favorites, but I thought Coma was an exception.

As for Locomotive, I actually haven't heard anything about it outside of these forums except on this one forum (but on that forum, Dead Horse was a huge favorite, too), good or bad. What a shame. That song is a masterpiece. Some of the best lyrics.

    Coma rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. If the record company cut GNR off in 2004', would that make their contract null and void.

Why have a record contract if the record company won't back yOur records?

I don't claim to know much about this subject, but someone is draggin ass somewhere.

I am pretty sure the record company can cut off funding whenever they want and release what ever is completed at that point so I don't think Axl had any choice at that point........

    Agree

  13. Why is Bumble acting like a total fuck as of late

    How so?

On the live stream some one asked him about playing oh my god and bumble said ask the singer

You haven't got his sense of humor yet?

He's fucking around about everything. I bet you believed him when he said "fuck Estranged".... :rofl-lol:

I dont know him personally I just wrote what he said on live stream in regards to "Oh my god" being requested by a fan. He said ask the singer, Ill play anything..so Axl sets the playlist of each show and if Oh my god is to be played it is not up to Bumble but Axl himself.

Axl is the singer, so yes that would be true.

I wasn't replying directly to you though, but "axl_on_drums" who said Ron was acting like a "total fuck". I thought you were the original poster, I just saw "axl" in the user name, but obviously you are another Axl fan.

    No problem man
