  1. Mafia 2.

A good game - but should have been a great game.

No side missions, except for crushing or selling cars. Not much variety of places to rob.

No use, for being able to open the boot... or trunk if you prefer. Why can't I throw bodies in it, or store guns?

I can turn a light switch on and off, or leave taps running. But what's the point in those details, when there is so much lacking in terms of gameplay.

And no free ride mode! The first one had it! I kow you can get a fan made patch to get it, but it's as if so much of the game has been cut out in haste.

The story is too short too, and there is seldom little time to just run around and explore between missions, and you can't save without it continuing the story (as far as I know...)

Though it does save when you find hidden items.

I like it for what it is, but it seems wasted overall.

  2. Watched The Happening for the first time- and really wished I hadn't.

I was hoping to see gore and more rediculous deaths. People reactions to seeing the deaths were pathetic. And it bugged me that at the start and end of the film, there was one person that didn't get infected right away, even though everyone else around them had been.

I loved it when the guy shot those two kids though. I like it whe kids die in movies. Littles bastards that they are.

Then I watch Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs.

Loved it, I didn't know what to expect so I was pleasantly surprised and there were many laugh out loud moments. Especially the snowball fight scene. And the Mokeys thought box.

    Lick... lick.. lick..

That film made up for the abomination I had just witnessed.

And just to add, I was going to see The Expendables at the cinema, but tickets are £9.50. That's almost $15. No fucking wonder people download films.

    Movies were £7.50 last month.

    Rediculous.

It won't even cost that much to buy it on DVD when it's out.

  3. Blaze Bailley shouting at someone in the crowd. Skip to around 3:30 for the end of the song, although the pissed off look on their faces during the song is funny to watch too.

Not really angry, but Bruce ripping up a sign that was mocking their setlist.

Marilyn Manson pushing a stressed out John 5 too far.

Keith Richards smacking a guy with his guitar.

  4. Wow that is kind of sucky, and I too like Disturbed.

But now... I find it hard to distinguish some of their songs from the others. They all seem to have the same kind of riffs and beats.

And I know it's not a crime for there to be more than one song with the same name, but really. Another way to die?

    Yeah ok James Bond.

  5. Episodes from Liberty City sucks. The missions are fucking hard and when you die you pop out in the middle of fucking nowhere.

So then phone one of your contacts that can provide you with a car... or bike...

  6. John Deacon, former Queen bassist.

Ah good one. Can't believe I forgot about him.

    Phil Collins

    Jim Martin

Phil hasn't retired. He has a new album out later this year and some gig dates.

Oh aye, and I think it's safe to say Gary Glitter will no longer be back in the music business. Forced retirement?

    Phil Spector too I guess.

  7. Can you guys help me by listing, as the topic title suggests, musicians that have retired from the music scene.

We are so used to ageing rockers still touring, making albums and what not, I'm interested to know of famous ones that have just had enough and quit music, or been forced to retire through injury or illness.

At a stretch, you can include musicians that are still in the business as producers or managers etc- so long as they don't actually perform.

I can only think of John Squire.

  8. I'm really need you lot to help me find the title of a film, by my crappy film description.

This is all I can remember about.

Two guys run a webcam site that is either made for, or just attracts, depressive suicidal whiney users.

There is one gothy kind of girl that is a frequent user and quite popular, and one the 2 guys, the admin I think, starts talking to her and I think falls for her.

It's possible that they meet up at some point.

Later on, shit happens and the gothy girl decides to top herself on webcam. Takes an overdose and crashes out. Much to the amusement of some of the other camers.

Admin guy sees this and theres a mad dash to her home I think.

And I forgot what happens after that.

I don't know exactly when it was made but it was the early 2000s. I saw the film in 2004.

    Now it's bugging me.

    Please help:)

  9. Red Dead is the first game I truely wet my pants over when I heard about it. Then found out it wasn't getting a PC release yet.

    Bloody consoles...

Mafia 2 is the next pant wetting game I'm eager to get my hands on.

  10. Love Muse, one band I have to see live but would sell my right nut to.

Unfortunately, I hate thier majority fan base. As mentioned, bunch of twilight loving teenager types. Their music has become commercial but underneath that are some truely genious peices of music.

  11. And arm and a leg for KISS tickets eh? Maybe I should just scalp mine off to the highest bidder.

Nah I'm definitely going to go, even though it's just for the "I've seen KISS" factor.

I was watching some vids on youtube to get an idea of what to expect. Face painted fans and people walking around trying to show off they have a long tongue to their mates seems to be on the agenda for most.

Yeah it's at the SECC. Hate that place but if there's gonna be explosions and stuff it might brighten the place up a bit.

  12. One of the guys at work has a spare ticket to see KISS in Glasgow, and knowing I'm a fellow rock fan he asked if I want to go since his mate cancelled.

I'm not exactly a fan of KISS though, I only know their big hits so do you recon it it's worth checking out their stuff or should I just leave it and be pleasantly surprised/let down?
