What's to like? She allowed the fortunate few to accrue insane amounts of wealth while millions languished in unemployment through no fault of their own other than accident of birth. She displayed no compassion to these victims of her regime.

How can someone with a moral compass like you like someone who hurt so many people in the name of greed and power?

Like Daisy said, when Thatcher came to power the country was on its knees, growth was non-existent, the unions were running rampant, and the economy was in the toilet. She enabled the average man in the street to purchase his own home, millions of people who never thought it possible went on to buy shares and become owners in tangible assets, she broke the unions, revitalised the economy, turned London into the most important financial city in the world and helped end the Cold War. Of course, she wasn't perfect and I think that selling off national resources was a mistake (you sell the fruit, not the trees), as was the rising unemployment, especially amongst the young. What I don't think was a mistake was her shutting down of industries that had run their course, such as flagging coal mines in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately, mines do run dry and when they reach this point it is irresponsible to keep them going.

Is it true that the away supporters going to Luton have to walk through some terraced house - through the front door and out the back - to access the venue? I was reading a thing on the most horrible football grounds and that was mentioned.

I literally couldn't understand a word he said   Do you not think the yank started it though?

Just typical presser stuff, really, but Saunders had to throw a wobbler, like the massive quim he is. I could honestly see Khurtsidze bashing Saunders unconscious before doing him up the arse whilst screeching "Eeeeyuuuuu!!" over and over.

Khurtsidze screaming out "Eeeeyuuuuu!!" was priceless.

Why does no one like Corbo?  I mean all politicians are cunts really but out of the lot on display I'd have him.  First of all he's a Gooner, most important thing...secondly he's always like, looking out for the working classes, poorer people and that, seems a good man.

He let Dianne Abbott sit on his face.

Eugene is a coward and whilst he doesn't want to betray Rick And The Gang he has done the maths and figures that his best chance of survival is throwing in with Negan's group. Talking of Negan, it was great to see him piss his pants when Sasha jumped out of the coffin. Talking of Sasha, I felt the whole Negan wanting to bring her into his inner circle so quickly angle to be ludicrous.

"Alexandria shall not fall! Not on this day!"

(Can someone change the thread title to “The official football thread please?)

It is called "The Official Soccer Thread" in memory of Lithium, who named the previous thread that. Sadly, Lithium passed away due to a massive rectal injury, but he will not be forgotten and lives on through this thread's title.
