thanks quix. have they used that video at other concerts other than the australia ones? surely they have right? id also like to add that the rest of the best was really great on the night. the whole band impressed me. I hope the original guns n roses reunite some day but at least axl has picked some great musicians to jam with for now.

i was at gnr's show in adelaide, australia on december 7. and it was the best fucking night of my life by far, i almost cried thats how happy i felt. i was like holy shit thats THE axl rose up there! and axl sure did put on a good performance, he seemed to be singing with passion
anyway during the song Sorry. on the big screen they had a video playing that had actors, a mother and daughter arguing and fighting and then at the end the daughter jumped off a building. the video really amazed me, it really fit the mood of the song and sparked some emotions inside of me. does anyone know the video im talking about? im wondering if this video is on youtube. i couldnt see it there. i think it would be great if they turned it into an official music video some day. and they had videos during madagascar and i think there was one during street of dreams and this i love. does anyone know if street of dreams and this i love had videos? i drank a fair bit that night so i cant remember for sure.

i love this song. the way jagger sings the verses and the guitars and rhythm behind him is so friggen catchy and badass. is there any other rolling stones songs that are similar in style and feel to stray cat blues? cause id like to check them out. the only song that i think has a similar feel is 'bitch' from sticky fingers. but i only have 2 stones albums and 40 licks so i havent heard alot of their songs. its a bit of a controversial song to, no band would try to get away with a song like that these days.

im the oppossite to you markyboy. im good at learning riffs and jimmy page and tony iommi guitar solos but i suck at playing acqoustic stuff. id just rather rock out on guitar. i like listening to melodic stuff but i just dont have the patience to play it. id suggest trying to learn some led zeppelin and black sabbath. the ocean by led zeppelin is pretty easy and it'll impress people, just listen to the song alot to get the timing right for the main riff

8 years? does that mean they havent played a live show in 8 years or just a world tour? thats a long time, to think old gnr were only recording albums for 6 years

i love wild horses by the rolling stones.who plays the solo in that song, is it mick or keith, its a beatiful solo. wild horses is on a different level to all of their other songs. its such a moving song. it puts me in a weird state of mood thats somewhere between depression and happiness and just makes me feel really relaxed.

i used to love it. it has alot of amazing solos. i think ive heard it too many times. i usually skip holy wars and hangar 18 and get on to the other stuff, tornado of souls is awesome

thats interesting what u said about lennon being cruel in his young days. i saw that documentary imagine. and he seemed very kind. he did seem a bit arrogant at times. that scene where him and that capp guy were arguing was cool. i like lennon the most. i enjoy his singing and lyrics more

i read on some site that george harrisson was really shy as kid and as an adult. and he was known as 'the quiet beatle". is this true? im just interested to know being shy myself. in interviews with the whole band ive seen he didnt talk as much as the others

rage are great. i love bomb track, i love playing it on guitar aswell. theyre riffs were so simple but damn catchy

i think that janis joplin and axl rose sound a little similar in voice. is it just me? axls like the male version of janice

The Beatles - Getting Better
i was about to mention that one. the benefit of mr kite does it for me aswell

what are some uplifting songs that instantly put you in a good mood after you hear it and make you want to get up and do things. here are some songs that i find pretty uplifting:
beatles - good day sunshine, happiness is a warm gun
boston - peace of mind, something about you
bon jovi - wild is the wind, livin on a prayer
cinderella - nothin for nothin
queen - dont stop me now, killer queen
guns n roses - dont damn me, dont cry (for some reason)
led zeppilen - living loving maid shes just a woman
jimi hendrix - crosstown traffic, all along the watchtower
kiss - strutter

i like slayer more. i enjoy theryre riffs more than pantera. and i really like tom araya's aggressive vocals. pantera are awesome though. they have a unique sound. i mean they do sound like thrash but theres something different about them. most of the thrash bands of the 80s sounded pretty similar but pantera sound different to me. dimes solos are way better than slayer's solos. the only slayer solo i like is the one in the seasons in the abyss song
Kerry King and Jeff Hennaman (or whatever the fuck his name is) jack their guitars off. That's what ruins the solos for me.
lol. yeah its just sounds like they are playing random notes really fast. it doesnt even seem like theyre using scales

what do u guys think of dave mustaines voice? i really like it. i mean hes not a technical singer or anything but his voice just sounds unique and angry and i think it really suits megadeths music. i like how hes just singing and not trying to sound like a death metal singer or anything

GNR UYI I . i truly beleive that album has no filler on it, i love every song
led zep II
slayer - seasons in the abyss . i like that more than reign in blood

i love the heartbreaker riff. its simple as hell but the most well known riffs like smoke on the water are simple. i like plants lyrics on songs like heartbreaker, you can sought of relate to those lyrics and you gota love the things he does like "baby baby baby yeah yeah yeah" if you wanna hear some good led zepp lyrics just listen to stairway or when the levee breaks
-
living loving maid is one of my favourite led zeppelin songs. the main riff is so cool. i cant believe jimmy page didnt like this song. the lines in the song are cool like, "noone hears a single word you say, but you keep on talking till the dieing day". that whole led zepp II album is awesome, ramble on and heartbreaker are great too.

i like this site. it has pretty much every song on it and power tabs for nearly every song. but there is alot of adds and pop ups on it. im wondering do you people know if this site is safe? has anyone ever got any spam or anything off it?

i reckon these days is their best album. the songs are catchy and it good that songs are about relationships failing instead jon bragging about how good his relationship is. and the person that said they liked wild is the wind thats such an awesome song it shoulda been a single

it was a great unplugged. kurt seemed to sing the songs with alot of emotion. i really enjoyed the acqoustic version of on a plain, it was very interesting. the lake of fire cover was great

Hey. Our band has put a song on youtube, this is one of my original songs. It would be great if you guys could check it out and rate it. Ive got a couple of questions, what do you think of the singer's voice? and what do you think of the main riff?
