Everyone does it. I'd practise a song i'd written for me and another guitarist for weeks, but when we went to record it today we f***ed up the first three times!!!!!!It's so annoying when u do it live, but sometimes u just seem to go blank. It will always happen to every band. U wanna pity session musicians. There expected to play a song first time without hearing or practising it.

Neither gutarist is particularly good, however, slash is perfect for GnR, and giving the current setlist, would be better.  new material will probably suit bucketheads style, but at the moment they are playing very little of this

Buckethead is not a uniquely talented guitarist!!!!!!!!!!Plenty of guitarists are far better than he is. The only reason Axl has hired him is to create a sensation, and to try and get people onto his side. I doubt that you actually play guitar!!!!!

???????. since when has dropped d tuning made any difference to how a song sounds. All GnR songs use that tuning, but they could just be played in normal tuning, playing e as a d sharp.

    I also want to say that, at his own admittance, Slash, although he sounds good, isn't a very good guitarist. in fact, that goes for almost every famous guitarist. I know people who are far better than Satriani or vai. the only difference is that they don't want to be famous. i bet 90% of then couldn't pass grade 6, let alone 8. Good guitarists aren't needed for good rock music like GnR. what has changed is peoples taste, and hopefully Axls return can do something about that!!
