  1. Not going in too much detail but the show was great. I couldn't believe that they took the state at 11:05. I see people saying 10:50, 11:20, but trust me it was 11:05. That was good, being a weeknight and all, I was expecting them to come out around midnite. Anyway, Suicide Girls were nothing special. Bach and company were great. Guns were great and all but I couldn't help thinking to myself "hired guns" during the show, and thinking about the old guys. Oh well, it didn't really take anything from the show for me, but I'll wait until I hear more new stuff before I form more of an opinion, even though, how can previous 5 albums be topped? (Yes I love TSI?)

Guns were great, the show was everything that I thought it would be. Got in line at like 5:20 and was able to stand up against the railing towards the left in the GA section. During 'Down on the Farm' I was jamming out to the words and Bumblefoot noticed and tossed his guitar pick my way but I tipped it up and behind me when I went to catch it, oh well, was cool but I'll get over it. He's a pretty cool guy, smiling, seemed to be having a good time and making some contact with the fans. Guy next to me got kicked out for taking a piss through the holes in the railing! I'm like 6'3 so I hope you people behind me saw ok...Cant wait for CD!

Now I need to rant a little.

"Even this morning they were saying on 98 rock how GNR started strong but lost the crowd and ruined the show by playing new songs no one knew. "

This makes me wanna take the 98 Rock bumper stickers out of my rear window display in my car. Sounds to me like deejays shooting off at the mouth without really stopping to think. From my favorite station, no less.

I agree with your sentiment - But who ever said that on the radio definately had reason - I was in the pit and during the new songs... it was only me and like 2 people near me rockin out and singing -- eveyrone else just stood there and wondered when it was over.

(With the exception of better - that made a lot of people move around.. even if they did or didnt know the song)

I wasn't really paying attention to any of the people around me, but I knew me and my buddy knew the words and we were rocking out to the new jams. Hope the people who never heard them liked them.

  2. Boo. I want a fucking band. I can look at real porn any time. Plus I don't want some 14 year old's boner sticking into my rear regions. GA gets packed pretty close. Boo.

Yeah I'm with you guys on that...but I could care less I'm paying good money to see GNR not some opening act.

  3. I got therea t like 7:45 when the show was supposed to start at eight, and by the time GNR came on I was almost near the front. Get your drinks and shit early, then stay there for the long haul. Skidrow didn't even start until like 8:15-8:30, so you'll be fine. I'd suggest showing up between 7:30-8:00 at the latest, as the shows scheduled to start then(Or at least the Worcester one was).

That's great then. I plan to arrive in Baltimore around 3-3:30 so I guess I could grab a bite to eat before I get there.

  4. For all we know the album is already pressed and awaiting shipment to teh stores.

if it was out this tuesday it would be in the stockroom of my store by now

    its not

    the end

Plus it would have leaked. Didn't read the whole thread so maybe someone else mentioned it.

Edit: I mean the whole CD, I'm only aware of a few leaked tracks...

  5. Just a heads up for any fans-

    Late Night With U2

NBC's 'Late Night With Conan O'Brien' on Thursday is a U2 special.

As the band arrive in New York City for seven sold out shows at Madison

Square Garden, they will spend an entire hour on O'Brien's show and are

expected to perform a bunch of songs live.

The show has never before been devoted to one act. Closest parallels include a surprise performance by Bruce Springsteen before taking "Late Night" drummer Max Weinberg on the road, a week-long stay by The White Stripes and a month-of-Tuesdays with The Strokes.

Catch U2 on 'Late Night with Conan O'Brien' on NBC this Thursday. (12:35-1:35am.)

  6. Bono since you're the U2 expert I'll single you out. Does getting inside the heart or circle, or whatever runway they have count as general admission? I want to be inside there, will it cost more?

And what's the point to getting more expensive tickets than $49.50? Yeah they are reserved but I can get closer with GA, so I'll just get there like 5-6 hours ahead of time and hope to get closer. RIGHT?

Right!. The cheapest seats are the general admision seats(standing only) and I'm not really sure why U2 does it like that. Those seats will sell the fastest regardless of the price. I suppose that to get the full effect of the stage set up and the overall show the higher up seats are better, that could expmain why they cost more  but I mean floor seats are the shit. Especially on the last U2 tour when the heart went all the way out inot the crowd and the fans where in the middle and on the outside. It'll be like that again but without the heart I'm sure. I want floor seats for one show and upper seats for another. The floor seats will be hard to get. Good luck.

I'll get floor seats for the first show then I'll probably see them on the third leg of the tour and switch if I wasn't happy with floor seats. Can't wait.

  8. I'd join the fanclub but they said you have to join it by yesterday evening to guarantee getting the presale code so fuck that.

Where's Bono when you need him?...the forum member not the singer.

I searched google and checked some U2 fan sites, couldn't believe that I couldn't find the code. Oh well, guess I'll try my luck Monday morning.

  9. Bono this is my first day here.. but you are already my least favorite member.  you whine too much.  U2 is pussy rock.  it sucks,  bono sounds like cher, it doesn't rock hard, its for girls and pussies.

HAhahahaha after reading some of your posts you are like my favorite member here..I also like Funral, so I may not agree always but it's still funny shit.

Bono is right in my case. I downloaded U2's greastest hits (80-90) a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was great.
