  1. Yeah seen them with Twisted Sister bout a year ago and they were awesome, going to see them again next month. Well worth seeing, one of the best live bands i've seen.

  2. The thing with Kerrang is that they're basically music whores. They will slag off Guns N Roses but everytime there is a mention of them touring or of CD being released they'll jump on the band wagon basically because they know that if they mention GNR on their cover they'll sell more copies, same with all the music magazines, they'll slag people off until there is a hype and then when there is they'll claim they supported them all the time and that they're the greatest band ever, Kerrang are the worst though. :drevil:

Exactly, i mean on the front of the magazine it says Guns N' Roses: Axl Storms NYC!. Then on the actual article they said the performance was average and gave it 3/5 now that doesn't sound like he stormed it to me.

Yeah but the worst part is because I see GNR on the front i will end up buying it just to see what its got on them, and i seem to do it everytime. :drevil:

  3. Im raging i couldn't get a ticket for the SECC in Glasgow, it sold out in no time at all. They really should have played a stadium, but thats just the oppinion of someone who's going to have to buy a ticket of E-Bay for an extortionit price, its like Bon Jovi all over agaian damn!!!

  4. Wasted i agree with you on the biuld up of hype. I've been away from the site for ages like but when i came back on a few days ago it was pretty staggering how much chat was going on. In Scotland right now the hype is high especially with Download and the European tour so its a good way for GNR to go in order to biuld towards a US tour.

But if you look at it GNR also done well in Europe before they were the superpower they were in the US and the European market is very geered around rock at the moment, even if most of the stuff in Scotland just now is bland Indie wannabes or EMO kids, you know the ones, claim to be unique then all dress the same as they walk to art school chanting no more war, yes those fannies.

  6. Yeah i wouldn't read too much into it but still how fuckin cool is it to have had Izzy and Axl on the same stage. IMO having Izzy and Axl together again would be far bigger than any of the other previous members, basically because when the two are songwriting together they are magical. The two best song writers in the old band so together again would kick ass :drevil:

  7. Been ofline for a while folks so not up on the recent rumours that have been circulating on the site. Just wondering if there was any more word from reliable sources on Axls intensions to possibly release two or three albums in qiuck succession? Any news would be appreciated as i remember it being a pretty hot topic but i've been offline for nearly a year dudes so never heard any more about it. :drevil:

  8. Met them earlier in the year when I was Stewarding for them. Good live band and got the crowd pretty into it, Manni even unintentionally tried to break the smoking ban but cought on pretty qiuckly lol. :drevil:

The older members of the crowd though were boring as hell and wouldn't really move and all seemed to try and hog the front few rows but the younger members got moving and made it a good show. :drevil:

They do have a lot of good songs as well especially Rocks and the material from the new album, well worth a check. :drevil:

  9. I would have loved to have seen Guns in 88, Van Halen in 80 or Bon Jovi in 86, but instead i'll have to make do with seeing Bon Jovi on saturday when they play at Hampden, Glasgow. Sure it would have been great but there's a lot of good music getting made today it's just not mainstream anymore, which i dont really see as a great problem. :drevil:

As long as great bands play good tunes i'll be happy. :drevil:

  10. Not a huge fan but was a steward for the sounds of the underground european tour, pretty fuckin hectic workin it and got kicked in the face a good few times by crowd surfers, the bastards, but have to say that live these guys are really good. :drevil:

Madball, All that remains, Chimaira and that were all good but Manntis were amazing, might be a wee bit bias because the giutarist got me to hit the chords while he was playing which kicked ass, all nice guys as well. :drevil:

Well worth going to see these bands just for the experiance, even if your not a big fan of the music, like myself, the crowd and everything is class. :drevil:

  11. How you doing folks yeah I'm a Poison fan and its cool that they're doing a world tour that'd be awesome to see. They have some really good tunes like Look what the cat dragged in and Unskinny Bop etc, just hope they do a Scotland date but i'm sure they wont. :drevil:

  12. Bonfire, vixen, junkyard, tora tora, The Badlands. Plus there are some bands out just now like Hurricane party, Backyard babies, Beautiful creatures, The Glitteratti and well The Darkness. :drevil:

  13. Yeah my flatmate made me watch eurovision and I thought, oh night of torture but Wigwam came on and were shit hot, I even voted 4 them which is not a habit I'm into. Definatly gonna buy their album. :drevil:
