That's still pretty similar to what he's said in the past though. I wouldn't put stock in anything unless it's said (in a definitive manner) by Slash or Duff or Axl.

Considering Frank has been in LA a lot recently or living there at the moment, seen out with Duff a few times, and Slash will be back next month while Alter Bridge starts recording their next album, there is some glimmer of hope that they may actually be in the studio working on stuff

  2. This isnt scary like Ashba suggesting a day after GnRs biggest show and finale that he is back in...he is a complete troll and a half...sloppy as all hell when he played Slash's solos...his wife felt the need to bash the Vegas show they attended...attention whores

It was bad on his part. But something happened. He had a guy tending to him and the drum set DURING the song and then wrapping his hand or something after.

Dunno what happened but at least he pushed through whatever it was.

I was in the 4th row and noticed him grimacing in pain when Nightrain started...Slash n Duff both walked over and seemed to ask him what was wrong...seemed like something with his right hand

  4. Did anyone else notice that Matt Sorum is playing with the house band all next week on the Late Night with Seth Meyers show? Not sure what this means, if anything,

    http://www.interbridge.com/lineups.html#SM

Thats actually hysterical. Not sure if it means anything, but damn funny.

I am from NYC and remember Sorum announcing a few weeks back that he would be sitting in on Seth Meyers this week...Lets not forget that Dizzy is also on tour all this week throughout the Northeast with Hookers and Blow

  5. Dizzy Reed is playing in New York Friday, February 24th at an Irish Pub...I am headed to Richard and Frank's show tonight...saw them a year ago with the same band and met them...cool guys...also met Tommy at his solo show here in NYC back in August as well, at which Ron showed up with Poc and was very friendly

  6. Anyone know anything of him? Is he the one Axl was referring to in that Patience video?

Between Axl time and Greek time we'll never see a new album lol

I am Greek and if we combined Axl time with Greek time we would run into a lot of trouble lol I remember when this guy was managing Limp Bizkit and that wave of bands in the late 90s...I believe his company is The Firm...I am attending next weeks show at the Izod center in New Jersey and have taken the day off from work the day after so I can recover lol \m/

  7. I have been lucky enough to run into Ron on 3 separate occasions and Richard, Frank, and Tommy once each...First time I met Ron was outside Webster Hall in NYC for a Twisted Sister even (Ron and Twisted Sisters drummer are friends)...That night it must have been like 20 degrees and I was waiting on line to get into the even, shouted out Ron's name as I see him walking towards the club, he sees me and walks right over, spending the next 45 freezing minutes talking to me and my brother about GnR...then I spotted him again last year at a Fozzy concert in Times Square, walk right up to him and again he spent the next hour talking to me...then back in August I went to see Tommy perform at the Bowery Electric and at the end of the show I turn around and there is Ron with Poc hangin in the crowd watchin the show...I had the sleeve from Chinese Democracy with me so I pop it open to Rons page, walk up to him and he enthusiastically starts yelling "Oh shit! Oh Shit!" when I asked him to sign it...he is one funny character and very personable...he also introduced me to Poc that night...Tommy then came out from backstage and signed the cd for me as well and posed for pictures...then last January I went to see Richard and Franks side project The Compulsions at Don Hills and they too signed my cd and posed for pictures....Frank was definately the more chatty one

  8. Rihanna is on and the video and audio quality is superb...cant wait to see GnR on here next week...and Nuno Bettencort from Extreme playing lead guitar for Rihanna ;)

I did not see anyone else on the stage? Damn she is a fine specimen

Nuno from Extreme was on there...he was playing all the solos front stage..and yes Fortus played with her back in 2008 i believe

  9. guys i was hanging out with Ron Thal for a bit after the Fozzy concert in Times Square Wednesday and he told me they have not recorded any new material...the man is really down to earth and friendly
