yes it was the re-issue, but the AFD vinyl of the same re-issue had a printed inner sleeve and was released at the same time by the same company.

The cd from the same issue also has the page 3 girl (with black strip over boobs) inner printed page.

I find it very strange that the vinyl release doesn't have it.

Can anybody shed any light on this?

The 1991 re-issue of Lies (UK issue).

I can only ever find ones for sale that have a white paper inner sleeve and not a printed inner sleeve.

Can anyone confirm if this did only come with a plain inner sleeve or not?

It seems weird that out of all the UK Guns N' Roses vinyl's released, regardless of the pressing/issue that this was the only one that did not have a printed inner sleeve?

Even the AFD re-issue from the same time had a printed inner sleeve so why would Lies not?

I dont' think these issues would be classed as rare.

There must be thousands of them out there as it was the re-issue.

The problem I have got is that everyone only seems to sell the original issues due to them obviously being worth a tiny bit more money.

Still not much because as you will know there are thousands of the originals out there as well.

After putting this post up I may have found the AFD that I am after.

Just waiting on a reply.

I have been looking on ebay now and again but I am finding it hard as not everyone lists the cat numbers.

I am after the UK 1990 re-issues of Appetite and Lies.

So Appetite has the cat number GEF 24148 and Lies has the cat number GEF 24198.

Both need to be printed in Germany and in decent condition.

Has anybody got these that they would sell?

Do any of you guys know if The Spaghetti Inident vinyl had a German pressing?

It's just all G N'R albums (for the UK) up to that point were always pressed in Germany.

Even the cassette and CD of The Spaghettin Incident were made in Germany but I can not seem to find a German pressed vinyl of it.

The only pressing I seem to find in Europe is a one from Holland.

Was the Europe release of The Spaghetti Incident on vinyl from Holland only and not Germany?

I am a bit confused as too exactly how many UK issues of AFD there has been.

I have these

- Banned cover with cat number WX 125 924 148-1

- Banned cover (with Japanese peel off stickers) with cat number WX 125 924 148-1

- Banned cover with cat number GEF 24148

- Newer 180 gram version with Cross Cover

But recently I have also come across these

- Cross cover with cat number WX 125 924 268-1

- Cross cover with cat number GEF 24148

Does these mean that there was 2 versions of each issue with the same cat number? Both banned cover and cross cover

I have been going through a lot of my GNR collection and I have decided I want to sell my copy of Live ?!*& Like A Suicide vinyl along with a lot of other stuff.

My copy is in pretty good condition.

The vinyl is unmarked.

The cardboard sleeve has some marks were it has gone white (like most vinyls of this age) along some of the edges but no tears.

What kind of price are these going for in the UK at the moment?

As for the record collector magazine that list all the GNR UK releases I do have an old one but it doesn't go as far as Use Your Illusion era

My box set as has the November Rain pictured vinyl in it.

The reason I am trying to find this out is because I am going to be selling off all my unofficial or import stuff.

All I want to keep is the official UK released stuff.

This box set does have made on Germany printed on it but that only means it was made in Germany it still might have been sold in UK.

See for some reason I have it in my head that I saw this box set for sale in my local Our Price shop back in the day which is making me think this was a UK release as well but it was many years ago and my memory could be wrong.

Does any body know if the Guns N' Roses "Destruction, Lies: The Road To Illusion" limited edition box set (cat number GED24434 or GEFD24434) was ever officially released in the UK or was this only available in Germany?

By my research (looking around on the internet) every thing seems to look like it was only released in Germany and not the UK but can any body out there confirm this?

Ive been going through my G N' R collection and notice I think I have some missing.

Hi there

I was wondering if anybody out there has a rough kind of idea what price I could charge for my G N' R collection as Im thinking about selling it all. I have every UK offical G N' R single that was ever released. From It's so easy up to Civil war. With each single I have every format of the single that was released includeing limited editions, cd's, 7 and 12 inch etc. The all have the correct stickers on they should have i.e parental advisory stickers etc and all badges and fake tattoos etc that they come with. All are in pvc vinyl wallets. Its gotta be fairly rare to be able to get the whole collection all in one place???

Any estimates people?
