  1. I heard something about this recently because they're thinking it could be a similiar case with michael jackson.

Yea, thats probably why I heard it, but I'm having trouble finding the article cause I never watch TV voluntarily so I don't recall what channel it was on. One of the Seattle ones I know.

  2. Back this up or fuck off. No offense but Jimi means a lot to me and you provide no evidence for such a profound claim.

It was on the news tonight. I live near his grave, so we've got great coverage up here... I'll try to find more on the story tonight. I'll probably be on after you're already off for the night though cause I don't get on until after 6 pacific time. But I'll do my best. And don't worry, I'm not just looking for attention, I don't know anything about him, but what I've heard on the news and in the Seattle "Hall of Hendrix". It's real cool-anyone who can should check it out.

  3. Tonight the news was released that after all this time one of Hendrix's friends was holding in the secret that Hendrix's manager had him murdered for the 2 Million $ Insurance policy he had taken out on Hendrix's life before he died.

The autop....okey I can't spell that but the coroner er whatever said that noone could or would INHALE that much red wine and sleeping pills. Further investigation revealed that he was restained and had high amounts of sleeping pills and wine shoved down his throat. He resisted, and wound up choking-windin up with much more of the liquid in his lungs then should have been there if he had drank it on his own...besides-who would try to kill themselves with wine and sleep aids when you could just use heroine? Especially when you have so much potential!

  4. Lately, I'm having a harder and harder time keeping up with newer releases, let alone delving into unheard or under-explored "classics." There's just too much great stuff being put out these days, and the immediacy of the Internet has made it more intimidating than ever before -- and easier for people to put out solid work that, in the years prior, may have struggled to find wider audiences. Nowadays, I've found the only way I really get to know new music is if I've got it in my car.

I guess, for all its advantages, sometimes I just miss the simplicity of the days before the Internet. When news was broken through a handful of outlets rather than Twitter, TMZ, MySpace, Facebook, and Google news feeds; when a big album really was a big album. I'm not saying music has gotten worse -- there's a lot of great stuff out there right now. I'm saying the problem is that the immediacy of it all, and the gimmie-gimmie culture of the USA and indeed the world today, guarantees that a lot of the great stuff is tossed aside to make room for next week's releases quicker than would have been the case even a decade ago.

    If they're not noticed, they don't want t to be noticed enough;

    If they arnt good enough, they don't want to be good enough;

If they arnt popular; their gonna bite the dust of those unafraid of the big time.

  5. ....Let me guess-Leaning out without falling flat on their faces?

Simple Jackson patented flexible shoes that had a grove in the soul that a nail when neccessary could slid into; so he and the dancers were by proxy nailed to the floor. They'd simply slip their shoes back away from the hidden nail, and continue the show, and to begin slip their shoes over the nail and pray that they had their angle just right.

It's really not that  ing

P.S-If this is what you meant and you admitted trying that.....

    for you!

    How's Dr. Seuss?

    lol

    .......HISS......

  7. I just got my first memoriabilia monday actually and it was a book about "Slash", and a "Guns N' Roses" guitar pick. I also got an ACDC pick-but thats beside the point.

n I would have gotten a poster, and shot glass but the prices were outragous, and I am saving for my guitar.

  8. I'm glad kevin cought that one, the word I was thinking of rhymes, but is not appropriate....

haha probably woulda been a better suggestion anyway?

Ill give ya a hint....rhymes with hunt, and starts with ©.

WOW so thats how you do copyright!!! I meant C

  9. Yes, different mics and different mic settings can effect the way you sound.

I know that in the studio at my college, we not only use different mics for different instruments, but, also for different vocalists. Like, we wouldn't use a mic that sounds good with hi hats on a clean vocalist.

Generally, screaming vocals sound best with drum mics, vocal mics usually sound best when they're, like, Shure's or SM-57s(which also sound good with guitars).

Screamers work well with AKG 414s.

Odds are that the mic they provided you with is set with either a high pass or a low pass filter, causing the voice to lose some of its substance.

Thanks, so what would work well to make my voice just how it is? Normally it's soft, and clear.

    Thanks all.

  10. Helpzies!!!!! pleez!

If you're really good looking, don't worry about it. Noone will give a shit.

    If you look like this:

    retard.jpg

    Invest in better equipment.

    800 people? Wow, that's a small Venue!

Ironcally I'm (hopefully) going to post my first picture(s) in June of the performance......but never fear I'm georgeous compared to him!

But I stil want osound good. Looks arn't everything ya know.

Hey at least 800 is better than Axl's 13!

  11. Thanks. I don't know people said it sounded good, but I don't believe them. The thing that sucks is that the mic is different then the one Ill be practiceing with, and different then the one I will be using in June. The thing in August like every person I'm related to is going to be at, so I don't want to mess up, besides singing is my uitmate love, I'd be nothing without music! The sad thin Is withiout the I can manage to sound like Axl, with it I sound like someone with absolutly no rythem to their voice, and a soft voice that is also high pitched...so annoying!

  12. In June this year I'll hopefully be singing a Def Leppard song --"Do you wanna get rocked?" or a GNR song--"Civil War", "Knockin on Heavens Door", or "Sweet Child of Mine". Then in August I'm singing "Patience". My problem is the mc makes my voice so weird that I soundlike hal my age, and gh pitched. I know nothing about music equipment, but I was told the mic was for instruments only when I went to my audition. So I sounded terriable and broke my own Heart and dreams!......

Is their actually a differene in the mics, or am I gonna embarress my self in frontof 800 people withouany option but giving u????

    Helpzies!!!!! pleez!

  13. for me emo is a 14-16 years teens who always use make-up and dressed like... anyway...it's awful)))

Well I think people who dress all weird like that with the chains, and the weird hairdoo's, and the spikes, the spripes, and the make-up are really gothic.

Gothic is believeing in a way of life that is very different then others. (Like wearing cloths that are very different then other people)

Being Emo is when you have a mental "didorder"/or belief/bad attitude that makes you depressed, gives you mood swings, Anger issues, crying sprees, Depression/manic depression/severs depression, eating disorders, or if your Bipolar, and/or have a bad life.

There are real Emo's and thats what I call "Emos". They can look just like a regular person, and may not show any emotion when people are around, but if they are Emo" they do show/feel major emotion sometimes. But then there are also the wanna-be Emo's who are really Gothic. They stand out by their own appearence, and by their choice in role models, and choice of music. They often try to mimic the real "Emos" and will accept them into the Gothic group to strengthin the appearance of the whole group being true "Emo"
