  2. I think you guys are overreacting, and maybe the reason is because there is some truth to what John Bon Jovi said. Like it or not, Bon Jovi is successful, they have sold 100 million records, and they have done more than what Axl has done in the past 15 years. Also, they treat their fans better because they actually tour and still make records instead of hording them.

Call JBJ gay all you want, and make fun of his lyrics but remember Bon Jovi actually puts thier music in the public domain willingly, which is something GNR has not done recently. Also, you have to admit Bon Jovi does treat its fans better and doesn't do things like string its fans out for 15 years and also fulfills its commitments to complete tours.

  3. I would suggest they include a DVD and a CD. Here's my reason.

DualDisc is evil. Let me explain.

The CD side of the Dualdisc does not conform to redbook audio standards. The CD side IS NOT playable on most computer drives, and may not even be compatable with your CD player if it has a problem with it. For instance, since it is literally thicker than most CDs if you have a CD changer it may not take the CD. In addition, since it will most likley not be playable in your computer, you cannot turn the CD into MP3 format to listen on your portable music player.

The only way to turn a Dualdisc into MP3s on most computers would be probably to get a program to rip the DVD Audio side of the CD into wav format and then convert it into MP3s.

In short, stay away from DualDisc

  4. I just wanted everyone to know how terrible Dualdisc is.

For those who don't know, the idea it is one disc, with 2 sides, one side is a cd the other side is a dvd.

The problem is the CD side is designed to make it impossible to play on computers. This means that you cannot rip songs from the CD and put them in your MP3 player, legally.

This flaw makes the format worthless to so many people because so many people (including me) like to listen to CDs on their MP3 players.

This is an example of the RIAA treating everyone like they are a criminal, when some people just want to listen to the music they purchased.

Maybe if the record company didn't want people listening to music on the computer, they shouldn't have trained people to plug their music CDs into their computers with the CD Extra gimic.

Anyways, when Chinese Democracy comes out, please either buy it on CD format or download it off itunes.

    Peace
