The Hall of Fame is silly and corporate anyway. I respect Izzy and Axl for not bothering with what would have amounted to a circus sideshow. Let the historic music they all made together speak for itself; not some pompous ceremony.

I believe that Axl always wanted him back too, but Frank really put alot to Guns. Axl probaly got close to Frank and couldn't let him go.

yeah but Axl will only have the people who can best realize his vision, and brain beats frank hands down with not only his talent as a drummer but also his expertise in the studio

It's understandable that they play the hits. Basically what 99% of concert goers want to hear.

If the band wants to take a step in a new direction they need a new song, a huge hit. That is the only way. Not some Chinese Democracy leftovers to please 50 people on this board.

The more I think about it I also realize that it's simply not in the cards. I think the band is further away from publishing new material than anyone here can imagine.

I was alone at my girlfriend's apartment the other day and I was messing with her tv and found this music section ON DEMAND and found one Guns N Roses video and it was the It's So Easy one and I turned the volume to its max and started blasting the song jumping naked around her apartment and the neighbors complained and not a single fuck was given... at least not by me.

Yes? Based on their first 2 releases, I found them to be a good band. However, they seemed entrenched in the "black n' roll" genre which prevented them from being able to approach Windir's majesty, in my view. How's their latest work?

I believe the rasp takes his breath away. In 2010 he had the rasp, but he was also getting winded. He's not getting winded as much in 2011, and in fact can hit some really long notes when he wants to - in Estranged for example. He still uses rasp when it's called for, but seems to fall back on the cleaner vocals to preserve his stamina. I think it's a fair tradeoff.

I think it's Dizzy. Later in the show, the camera cut to him during one of those vocal sections and it seemed to sync up.

So, I used my ps3 to browse iclips, and I was able to get the free recorded clips to play. However, there are apparently some compatibility issues, because I'm only able to play the first song in any setlist. The remainder being inaccessible. Whether this would affect the livestream or not is unknown.

Mormon's don't practice polygamy, haven't for like 100+ years. The ones that do (see: Warren Jeffs) are publically ex-communcated/disowned, and ostracized from the church. So much hate and disrespect towards mormons...I really have never understood this. They're such good people, why they get publically ridiculed so often is beyond my comprehension.

What do you hope CD II sounds like? I'm hoping for a heavy electronica type sound.

I hope he just keeps pushing it further. It would be a big mistake to try and go back to an AFD type sound. All the classic rock type songs have been written at this point. When people try and make that kind of music now it just sounds like a complete knock off of something better that came before.

Yes. More experimentation and evolution (not necessarily limited to electronica).
