  1. 3 hours ago, Axl Rose aka God said:

It's not going to be new music. I wish it was. But it won't be. Please don't get excited guys. We've been down this road so many times. It's more dates.

No more dates in the US... most of the upcoming stadium dates have still a lot of seats available.

I believe there will be an AFD Reunion or a massive Co-Headliner for those 15 dates. Otherwise the stadiums will be really empty.

  2. They've been playing to mostly half empty arenas. I saw them at Target Center a couple of weeks ago...capacity is 18,000+, they sold about 8,000 on that one. Axl has some difficult decisions to make once this tour wraps. Does he keep pushing this version of the band? Does he go and do a solo album & tour? Or...does he reconcile with Slash, Duff & Izzy and do a reunion tour? IF they make it into the R&R HOF, my bet is on the latter.

So, basically your saying Axl should reunite with the old band to increase record sales in the U.S.? Are you serious? I don't think any of the five men you mentioned would consider ever doing that, because it would have to be a mutual decision to reunite, not a money factor.

And besides, they haven't had much success in the US since the 2001 tour, but everywhere else they play to packed hours with 50k, 60k sold out shows in South America. So it's not like their not popular worldwide, it's just the U.S.

They are doing very well in South America, but they are not playing 50k or 60k sold out shows:

haha yeah right Paragvay was with more than 60000 ...prove tv report on youtube

These are official numbers. Paraguay was a double concert with Aerosmith. 26,419 were listed for Guns and 31,917 for Aerosmith, but with a ticket for one band you could see the other for free.

This is the dumbest thing I've read ... if you buy a ticket valid at both concerts, then gnr and aerosmith together sold about 60000th .. tell me the point, especially to sell tickets for gnr and aerosmith if a ticket is valid for both concerts before ...... I would say that the organizers avoid paying taxes ... in metashow Ron said that there were 70,000

Also, they didnt played only 1 show at Argentina, but 3... and the place in La Plata cant hold more than 37000 what do u want? if they played 1 show, like the last year, ofcourse they will get 50k+ again... but then, 3 shows spreads around the country still makes 50k+... nice try cupcake

The numbers are from billboard, so what the fuck is your problem?

  5. Seems like the Italians know how to ROCK!!:

Paradise city with crazy mosh pit going-

    SO many empty seats :(

SOLD OUT show. Sorry try again.

    Try again for what?

I didn't see that the show was sold out. Very cool. I didn't check all the info. Clicked the link, saw the empty seats. Felt bad.

There are only empty seats behind the stage...this is very common for an arena show. The show was sold out, so no reason for feeling bad.

  6. Yeah, Axl sent a 10 second version of the new re recorded paradise to be played in the expandables :rofl-lol:

To be honest it wouldn't surprise me - he's friends with Rourke.

The rights of paradise city are part of the old band (Axl, Slash, Duff), so I think Slash and Duff would not allow a rerecorded version for the movie.

But Axl allowed Slash to re make it with fergie and cypress hill?

Good questions...does anybody have exact informations about the rights of the old band. I only know the document about the lawsuit between Axl and Slash + Duff.

  7. Yeah, Axl sent a 10 second version of the new re recorded paradise to be played in the expandables :rofl-lol:

  8. ..., Lady Gaga and other pop shit artists would never sell out the stadiums GNR and other rock bands do.

GNR sold out every stadium on the 09/10 Tour, because wiki said so...

No, GNR sold out almost every stadium they played in South America because the ticket selling agency (Ticketmaster and Ticketek) said so. It was impossible to buy tickets to the concerts several weeks before because according to the ticket selling agency said, in their websites and in their ticket box offices, that it was SOLD OUT. It was SOLD OUT because the promoter and the production said so, it was SOLD OUT because EVERY newspaper on the countries that did an article of the tour/concert said it was sold out, it was Sold Out because I was there and sometimes it was even overcapacity.

Simply, it was sold out because THERE WERE NOT TICKETS LEFT, BECAUSE THERE WAS NO SPACE LEFT ON THE VENUE!

Cant you understand that? Cant you just accept that in some places NewGNR/Actual Band (actually its Guns N' Roses, accept) has a great fanbase, cant you accept that liking it or not, the band is still able to sell out big stadiums in just a few days? Cant you see that theres a place on the Earth where people only want to hear good music? The whole stadium singing along the Chinese Democracy songs sometimes overdubbing Axls voice was all I wanted so I could throw it at some MyGNR and other forums idiots like you.

Guns N' Roses is still alive, sucker.

Thanks, you are so nice! No SA Show was sold out and there was no show with more than 40.000 people. Accept the facts and don't post your wiki bullshit anymore. GNR did very good numbers in SA so there so no reason to fake the numbers and post complete bullshit like you do.

Dude accept that many South American concert were sold out! And 3 or 4 had 40.000+! Baz said Sao Paulo had more than 60 thousand, he was wrong though, it was in the max 50+.

Almost every concert of the S. America Tour Axl asked the crowd to take on step back because the people of the front row were getting hurt.

Why do you insist in deny this?

Because you have no official source for your bullshit. The crowd in Sao Paulo was a little bit over 35.000 people...

Sorry for bring this discussion up again, but...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nMobKz9cUM%26%61%75%74%6F%70%6C%61%79%3D%31&player_feature=embed

LOL. Thanks for your selfmade video, but you are full of shit and have no idea of the official attendances...

  9. OMG you're so stupid. The promotion and the production of the concert stated weeks before that it was sold out, not only Sao Paulo, but also Brasilia, Porto Alegre, Buenos Aires, Lima and some others.... If it wasnt SOLD OUT why the ticket selling agency said it was? If there was any place or any ticket left I suppose they would want to sell them, and they sold the whole venue, it was sometime overcapacity, thats why Axl asked the crowd to take on step back because the people of the front row were getting hurt! And 35+ on Sao Paulo? For God's sake, The production, the tickets selling agency, the newspapers, the venue website, the team that owns the venue webistem claimed it was close to 45+! Why are such a dick? Cant you fucking accept that GNR still able to sell out stadiusm? They dont need idiots like you to do that, they have real fans.

What is your fuckin problem to understand the real facts?

These are the real numbers and the newspapers reportet the same numbers in their reviews after the shows. So what is your fuckin problem? The numbers are very good and there is no reason to be an idiot like you by posting wrong numbers.

So tell me why the tour promotion and production said that some concerts were sold out, weeks before the concert dates. Ohhh its pretty obvious.... the tickets selling agency didnt want to make any more money, they hate money, thats why they said it was SOLD OUT, they didnt want to sell any other tickets, despite there were many tickets left.

You could buy tickets for every concerts till the day of the concert. No show was sold out days or weeks before!! The only one who posted this bullshit here were you!

Capacity of all five shows was 125.785 and 110.327 people attended the concerts. These are real numbers....there is nothing to discuss.

  10. OMG you're so stupid. 13. Naupis, I have acess to what the tour promoter revealed after the tour, and according to them many concerts sold out. The promoter is T4F in case youre interested, the 4th biggest in the world. Like, for example:

None of the shows was sold out and there were no shows with more than 40.000 people in attendance. Please check the facts!

    Show Venue/City (Shows/Sellouts)

Ginásio Nilson Nelson, Brasília, Brazil (1/0)

    Mineirinho, Belo Horizonte, Brazil (1/0)

Estádio Palestra Itália, São Paulo, Brazil (1/0)

    Gigantinho, Porto Alegre, Brazil (1/0)

Estadio Vélez Sársfield, Buenos Aires, Argentina (1/0)

    Total Attendance (Capacity)

Both Palestra Italia and Velez Stadiums had a 45 thousand + attendance.

6 South Americans concerts sold out and many were 35.000+ attendance.

    :rofl-lol: Very reliable source, thanks!

  15. So, basically, all the sources ( including Universal ) that say 5 millions are pure bullshit and we should trust faceless people on the internet saying it ain't so...because they say so.

I don't say it's pure bullshit, but with all the numbers and facts we have, it's more realistic that CD sold between 3 and 3.5 million copies worldwide (BBF talked about 3.2 million). And I don't think that Universal Chile or Wiki are reliable sources...

  16. 5 million copies? can anyone give a source proving that?

it would be a great success, if it's true...

Nobody can give a source because it's not true.

USA: 1 million (to Best Buy)

    Europe: 1 million

Rest of the World: 1 - 1.5 million

Since the mid of 2009 noboby is buying CD anymore...and in 2009 BBF talked about 3.2 million...
